Spot on....watched from 20 mins in and marshall and bojan desperately poor from what I saw. Praise for the back 3 though - they've scored 15 at home so far and rarely threatened tonite. Must win Sat though now. I said it at the time and i will say it again, not getting a proven goal scorer will cost us and i wonder what excuse Mr Cartwright will come up with in the New Year We've got 7 strikers. Join them all together human centipede style and you might just about have a proven goalscorer

He was......but agree with mids he will add value particularly at home as he does things off the cuff which should help us break sides down. Nobody had a poor game. Kane was alright. Nothing more, nothing less. Can't believe he is being scapegoated, yet kasumu gave the ball away most times; played very well, but when going forward ran into their man at least 5 times. Normal Kasamu game then

What are these Welshies on?
Another League Match that shows we are deserving of our position in the table.
Huddersfield are quality. We looked strong against them for most of the game.

The best comment made on tonight's game by far. Happy with a point at Wrexham. Shows how far we have fallen and what a fuck up the years since the Premier League survival season have been. In my opinion, of course. Fair and valid point - but we are where we are right now. We have to accept it as tough as it is.....there is no real prem legacy and it's up to the new owner and football side of the club to try and create a new legacy. Won't be easy but so long as we try then let's crack on.

Clean sheet against a team that score a few at home? One goal would have won it for us? They will bully most teams that go there, we did ok.. We didnt fall apart, we didnt lose. We know we are still missing a striker, that cant change till January. I believe Hodge might have made a difference tonight. We defended well.. Im more annoyed about conceeding on Saturday then almost letting another in almost immediately, than getting a draw at a team second in the table. I dont care how crap folk think Wrexham are, this is the third division and this type of game is likely to come up quite often. If you are not playing well, dont lose. Keep looking at games and trying to improve the football we play in line with what we have in the squad but fight in the ones that are hard to watch and dont lose them. 7 out of 9 points isnt a disaster and the problems we have should not be insurmountable..

Funny, if you read the post match thread on Wrexham board, their fans seem to rate us much more than we do.

That game tonight had a real first leg playoff semi final feel and, to be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up seeing it again in May.

Due to marital connections, Wrexham are a team that I've watched as a "home" fan more than any other, apart from Town. I remember racing back from a weekend visiting my wife's friends in North Wales on a Sunday morning in February 2017, to watch us turn Leeds over (the Hefele game) in a midday kick off. I'd watched mid-table Wrexham squeak past relegation fodder Guiseley in a really shite National League game the day before. Now they're above us and expected to beat us in a League One match 😂

Very good point to get at a side thats extremely strong on their own pitch. Think both teams will be there or thereabouts come May. Thought a lot of our play was ok until that final pass. Cant really blame the strikers tonight as they barely had a chance of any note at all created for them..though both have held the ball up and linked play much better than they did in that game.
The only player I thought was particularly poor tonight was Lonwijk...he'll do the odd good thing but IMO hes a cock up waiting to happen. I think hes very weak in the air for a defender. Not just when hes in a 50/50 either..He must have headed the ball dangerously infield for no obvious reason about 5 times in that game. no obvious reason other than he cant head a ball. he worries me...plays like one of those players who thinks hes a hell of a lot better than he actually is.

I cant link that season, even the one under Corberan, with this anymore. The Premier league was so up and then so down its best left where it was for us. This is really bitty and we play or dont play like a different bleeding team in the same game.. Im trying to support at the games without the feeling of 'we wont lose' like I could in those two seasons but Im expecting more than the last two seasons, its pretty weird watching us at the moment. If you see what I mean🤔 ?

I never said that I was happy with it but some people on here are just sheeplike and keep regurgitating the same spiel. Have an original thought please, offer something that hasn't been spouted on virtually every thread and on every subject for the last 18 months. That is what pees me off

Happy with that tonight, longdick and miller was class.
Radulovic was crap, didn’t press at all didn’t offer any threat.
Ward looked good when he came on. Also think Kasumu played well that bit of aggression we needed.
Come on Exeter 3 points and it does really throw us up there

Listening to Pearson’s interview, I like how he says we’ve got to win on the weekend. If we could bottle his spirit and mentality and put it into the rest of the squad we’ll be fine this year, by fine I mean promotion.

Come on Exeter 3 points and it does really throw us up there I think you're wrong on Radulovic, he's not crap, he actually played ok, he's getting no service. The problem we have is the strikers have to feed off scraps and create their own chances. I don't think he fits the style we play. If we were raining crosses down on the oppositions box, he'd probably be OK, but we aren't, we can't beat the 1st man on most occasions and the one time we did cross it in he was on the end if it, heading narrowly wide.

I agree. I just wish we'd try and win away and not waste time from the first minute. Had enough of negative defensive football tbh, Moore and Bretenshite the worst examples but the rot set in years ago..we're in the third division ffs. We could have won that, they're OK,but the hype is ridiculous. Any team with an ounce of attacking threat would have beaten Wrexham easily tonight. Well clearly nobody in League One has this as they are unbeaten at home…

Good point in the end from a good second half performance. I thought Radulovic was poor again, He is so slow in thought and as for his movement or lack of it.... Cannot fault his effort, he is just not up to it, I want anybody who puts the shirt on to do well but in his case he offers nothing. He does not hold the ball up, is weak in the air and is slow across the ground. The chance he missed late on when he turned at the edge of the box and the keeper got out to him. Any striker at this level with all the time that he had would have at least got his shot away. Yet again too slow. Not his fault he is what he is . Whoever thought we should spend a reputedly seven figure sum on him wants showing the door. UTT

Funny, if you read the post match thread on Wrexham board, their fans seem to rate us much more than we do. It’s because this isn’t the high end of the Championship as people are making it out to be. League one games will be scrappy and good teams can be physical and direct. The fact that they play an old fashioned style of football makes people think that they are worse than they actually are
