I'm just glad I'm not in htfcterry world... life must be so miserable. You can't say this is entertaining! I'm chuffed we are winning because this team were above us before this game... 😳 Come on Terry... they were below us.

Good win against a decent side. No negative comments to make on any player.

That could have been a lot more difficult than it was. Aside from them having a couple of opportunities another solid performance for the most part. We are starting to look a lot more consistent and confidence seems to be slowly rising. Very good 3 points.

Another very cohesive and well organised performance without being spectacular, and more importantly we turned up for both halves for a change.
Since our 'blip', there can be no doubting that we have steadily improved, and gradually grown in confidence, which is exactly what this set of players needed.
Defensively is most certainly where our biggest improvements have definitely been made, if we replicate that level of improvement across the pitch then top 2 is well within our grasp.
I would say it'll be interesting to see how we get on against the 'good' sides in this division, but (with the exception of Birmingham) I'm wondering if there actually are any 'good' sides in this division, I'm honestly blown away by just how poor the standard is.

Solid performance, thought it would be a draw today.
Moving on up and Charlton have just scored a late pen v Wrexham.

Bojan is “ill” How many illnesses and injuries do these lads pick up?😂 To be honest, he always looks as if he has flu.

A deserved 3 points, though a pretty boring game. The defence were solid bar 1 lapse in concentration and limited them to nearly nothing.

Comfortable. Barring a sloppy 15 minutes we were very controlled against a decent side. Exeter moved it well, but had no punch. Two goals, plus two disallowed, against a side that doesn’t concede many, bodes well.
If we get on a roll, we’re going to be very difficult to stop.

Chuffed with the 3 points, but I’ve been absolutely shocked with the standard of the division. Exeter supposedly one of the better sides in the League and they were absolutely abysmal, totally bereft of any kind of quality whatsoever. We’ve half a dozen injuries and our team is still miles better than Exeter.
If Duff cant get this squad promoted it’ll be an epic failure, if he does get us up we’ll need a massive clear out because the gulf between League 1 and the Championship is huge. You can forgive the fans for not absolutely bouncing because after 12 years of Premier League / Championship football this standard takes some adjusting to.

Collect our 3 points, solid performances, can’t ask for much more than that.
Looking at how the table is panning out, we are going to need to beat the tops teams if we want to go up automatically, there seems to be a bit of a gap in class from the top 4-6 to the rest.

Excellent result ant the momentum continues along nicely !
Two wins and a draw v bankrolled Wrexham in the last seven days ain’t too shabby in ma humble opinion !
Onwards and upwards for HTAFC going forward in this very tight League 1 table...
Gonna enjoy the highlights later on with a few cans of Tennents and a sneaky wee whisky or three ! 🍺 👍 🥃

People who sit near me seem to have forgotten the past few years. Granted it’s not that exciting but fuck me it’s better to be bored and win than some of that shit we saw last season

Live not far from Exeter and can assure you that this is going to be a bigger test for towns defence than many people think You need to stop listening to the locals.

Good win, I was a tad nervous beforehand, the way we tend to be after a good mini run!
As an aside I thought pre season Wycombe Wanderers might present a challenge. They're flying, up to second. Be a tough old league this season, got to hang in there. UTT!

Just back at my mum’s in Birstall. Just a few points:
Excellent result, modest, fairly comfortable performance, a typical Matt Pearson goal and what is becoming a typical Ben Wiles goal. Long may they continue.
MOM for me a toss up between Kane and Lonwijk. Ward and Marshall both worked hard I thought but Healey looked to be blowing out of his backside after ten minutes.
Great to see Exeter City is their traditional home kit rather than some monstrosity when there was no colour clash.
Perfect weather for football. I enjoyed the afternoon.
Final word on the referee who I thought was very good, although it was a very easy game for him to handle. Not one bad foul, no time wasting, no pinching 20 yards at throw ins, no dissent, result no bookings. All helped by the ref.
UTT

The most reassuring thing about that performance is that it was against the side sat one place below us.
The standard of the division this year (and maybe since we left it?!) is genuinely dreadful - we don't actually need to do much to pick up points. Get to January with this form and we should be able to mount a challenge.

What was the disruption during the remembrance silence all about? Some kind of protest or just disrespectful stupidity?

Got there early, so went to see the Exeter players arriving. There were quite a few Exeter fans there as you'd expect. Fair play to the players who waved or shook hands with some, but I was surprised by the number who just walked passed with their headphones on and ignored them I'm not singling out Exeter, I'm sure every Club has its fair share of tits, but these fans had travelled about 300 miles, surely some acknowledgement wouldn't have been too much of a chore?

Great win as all wins are great wins. Thought we played well with Pearson, Lees et al at the back looking comfortable and with an added bonus of a goal again from Matt to get the ball rolling. Up front thought Callum Marshall put a shift in although his choices with the ball are still a bit off. He will improve though. Another win without any of the four strokers scoring, although Ward and Healey did put the ball in the net and then were ruled offside. If only we had a goal scorer who can keep fit we would romp to promotion. UTT
