Think we’ll go with a pretty strong team and look to get this finished within 60 minutes . Tamworth will be bang up for it but so should we . Think getting one in the first 10-15 will calm the crowd right down

Not sure you can "clog" as easily on a plastic pitch. They are part time and whilst it won't be easy there's no excuse for not progressing. |

Apparently Tamworth are an old fashioned bit of a rough Arse team , personally think Wrexham were similar bit obviously with a lot more quality . We have some physical players who can handle that type of game in the likes of lees and Pearson . We will be fine although the pitch may be a leveller |

It will be a good game, Tamworth have nothing to lose and all to gain and will be a handful, I expect some drama, but Town will prevail.

We have had a training session at Bradford Park Avenue. They have a similar pitch to Tamworth.

This stinks of an upset. Especially if we go with second string. He’s virtually said in the presser that won’t be happening.Wants to keep the momentum going from the past few weeks. The only changes he will make are to protect players who’ve has a history of injuries that this pitch might not help,or words to that effect I think. To my mind that would mean players who’ve injured knees or ankles rather than muscle injuries. Not sure if iv correctly followed what he said but if so I can’t think who he’d be referring to. Either way I’d expect us to be pretty strong team wise. |
