Aye well - Finally grabbed a chance to get on the iPad after another busy day and evening at the family home in Connel !
So offski to The Highlands tomorrow with the new HTAFC attire which I arranged to be delivered here this time...
Dump the motor in Fort William and have a few jugs and then bus to Inverness after a monstrous run up Loch Ness... 🐉
Check in then find a boozer to show it on council telly (BBC 2) and spread the HTAFC word in the highland capital 👍
I don’t think it’ll be a foregone conclusion for sure but hopefully we have enough to prevail and that’d be a pure fab start to ma Highland weekend...
The iPad ain’t gonna go to Nessie Land so we shall catch up with one and all late on Sunday night or Monday afternoon all being well...
To those going south on FA cup duty - Have a pure fab trip, shout loud n’ proud so I hear youse all thru that Highland council telly and hopefully it’s through to the next round and a home tie this time around !
Prediction = Tamworth 1 Huddersfield Town 2 ! 😊 👍

Hoping to see a thoroughly professional performance tonight and a reasonably comfortable win. Need to keep confidence high and this run going. A decent opportunity for players who might not have been starting too.

Tamworth wear red shirts, black shorts and red socks, so there's no reason why we can't wear the famous blue and white stripes (with white shorts and black socks) - is there? Live on terrestrial TV at peak time - that's what we should be wearing, anyway! It's only BBC2,most people will be watching Corrie,we may as well wear bin bags,be only Town fans and a few from Tamworth watching it,no one else cares. Not watched Corrie in over 50 years. Wife religiously has Gardeners World on so no need to change channel for hopefully a hatful of Town goals. Healey already scored one hat-trick this week, Rads used to 3G and came to us with a prolific record against lower standard opposition, maybe Iorpenda running riot. UTT |

There was a photo from Bradford Park Avenue and no sign of Hogg, Healey and Radulovic

Strong team and subs but no sure about risking Kasumu who can be injury prone. Mind you if all goes according to plan the game might be over at half time. Just woken up and realised its Town I am talking about not Man City so hoping there is no serious injuries or silly sendings off ... We should have enough with that team and looking forward to seeing once again Tom Iorpenda who seems a really good prospect. UTT
PS 2-0 win to Town.

I'm wondering how quick this thread will go from 3 to 20 pages if we lose. If we’re not 3-0 up by half-time some will be in meltdown. It’ll be a tough game. I expect Tamworth to be organised and to do simple things well. But I also expect us to be professional and patient, and if we are those things we will win. If we’re complacent, though, Tamworth will be good enough to cause us a shock. |
