With the expection of Forest 21’s, who are drawing with Wigan 0-0, every other prem U21’s team is getting spanked. Except Man Utd of course. Barrow are beating Villa 21’s 3-0 FFS. Colchester beating Arsenal 21s 2-0. If we don’t improve considerably on the second half, and we hear anything close to “giving respect” to “very talented players” they can all get to fuck. Lincoln City 5-0 up vs Man City U21s. |

Haven't this United team already beaten Barnsley? Have those other u21s getting thrashed even got anything to play for tonight? Scoop the toys up and put them back into the pram. You have to be technically excellent to be on United's books still at 19/20. Very few of a league one squad would ever have been close to playing for United. It is hard to find excuses for us and Im glad you found some. The penalty not given is another.. The amount of fouls by the kids ignored or not bringing a card is highly suspicious. But we are pretty poor.. |

Getting very annoyed with this. What is the point of this stupid fucking competition anyway, how does letting the biggest clubs field under 21 teams help anyone but the biggest teams. And so the gap widens and widens. I hate football some times.

Whilst we probably won't, we're still odds on to get a top 6 spot then anything can happen in the play-offs. I certainly wouldn't be judging based on this Tinpot Trophy. Presumably everyone agrees on the latter otherwise they'd be at the stadium and not typing on here. Where is your benchmark then? When do you start to judge them? Tamworth? Walsall? Crawley? Northampton? Blackpool? Birmingham? Wrexham? Reading? Doncaster? Or do we only pick the wins. Largely against absolute garbage. I’m not there tonight because I’m fed up of spending extra cash following this gutless shite. What is that keeps you positive? What have you seen in this team? All facts btw. |
