H Town is a great addition to the stadium and the match day experience but is already too small. Once KN takes ownership of the whole stadium what do you reckon will get done? Surely H Town will be expended but what other big developments does anyone think might come along and might be in the very commercial American mind? Something for the golf driving range area? Something built on stilts above the car parks? I’d love to know what he is planning to do with the club off the pitch.

Me too, there's no competition so if it's done right it could be very successful. Shops, bars, restaurants and a hotel would be good. Make it a destination.

H Town is decent but personally I think it’s too narrow, but it’s the space that it is. Honestly, somebody from Town should go have a look at what Accrington Stanley have built into their main stand to get an idea of what potentially could be done in a much larger ground like the JSS. Also Bromley have a very good and very large supporters eating/drinking area as well that is also worth checking out for possible ideas.
Areas like those at Accy or Bromley could potentially be open every day/night of the week, not just matchdays.

We should take a look at this; stackleisure.com/locations/st-james-stack/Next door to St James park, operates 7 days, daily entertainment, big on match days, multiple bars and Street food options. Outstanding venue!

I think one of the big ones is something that's been needed since the beginning and it's to fill the corners in...

Stadium shop moving to where the ropewalk is? Was a rumour I’ve heard but could be nonsense.

In a previous podcast with Steven Chicken, KN mentioned what would happen with the site once the deal is concluded. He discussed a hotel, apartments and retail/restaurants from what I can remember. I think they see potential from the improved trans Pennine rail link for those people working in Leeds and Manchester. He also owns a huge mall in Sacramento so clearly has experience of this type of thing

Living in the US, I've been blessed to see some really impressive facilities from the AT&T stadium (Cowboys), Allegiant Stadium (Raiders), Mercedes Benz (Atlanta Falcons), Truist Park (Atlanta Braves). All have them, have entertainment/retail/restaurant parks onsite, that are a great place to hang out before & after games but also throughout the week days and nights. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones built a place away from the stadium called "The Star" in Frisco, it's the site where the Cowboys train, its got restaurants, stores and bars, check that out for a concept! Impressive Truist Park (Atlanta Brave) has "The Battery" shops/restaurents/apartment complex/corporate facilities, cafes and ultimately an awesome place to hang out. Game or no game the place is always busy! Even on game day, they even stream the game outside the stadium on a big screen to those not in the stadium. So the regular punter who's maybe not a Braves fan, can see the baseball game. Good way to get people hooked on supporting the team. The Battery (Braves)Picture of The Battery (Atlanta Braves)

Get rid of the stupid swimming pool now that the council don't want it. It's too small to be of any use anyway.
Safe standing in the North Stand lower tier.
A second scoreboard/screen on the North Stand.
Fill the corners in (only kidding).

They have very little in terms of competition in terms of leisure facilities. The new Kingsgate Leisure complex isn't bringing anything new to the Town; Bowling (one on Leeds Rd), Bouldering (one on St Andrews Road), Laser Quest (one near old Cambridge Roads baths) and Cinema (one at the Stadium). So after the initial novelty wears off i can't see people paying for parking for those
Hopefully whenever they have planned it brings something new to the Town. Just been to Xscape; Trampoline park, gym, mini golf, eKart, Karaoke, shopping outlet and restaurants that we don't see in Huddersfield (Five Guys, Taco Bell, Bella Italia, TGI Friday). Obviously would love for us to get independent restaurants as we but even if we could get a fraction of that it would be a positive to the Town

The key with any developmental plans should be to make it a HUB, a destination, a place where if someone wants to go out for food they go there, they want to go to a few bars, maybe even a late night bar, they go there, they want entertainment they go there, corporate events venue where companies a like do their meetings there.
You make it an entertainment haven, with value, a good vibe. People will come.
EDIT: Similar to Jamie Charger saying "Nobody grows up and wants to be Gary Neville". Nobody who lives in Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester etc wants to go Huddersfield. I don't really recall anyone telling me that when growing up.
I remember living in Miami and a place everyone calls Wynwood (Which was a dump and NOBODY went there prior) became the Arts District, with pop art, cool modern niche independent stores, cool bars and restaurants. Now, it's a destination hotspot and hosts Art Basel in Miami.
Just do a quick search Wynwood Walls into google, and you will see. It's super cool.

Light shows Dizzy penalties Give the people what they want Been to a few stadiums with light shows, it just feels so shit and cheesy, like a trip to Batley Variety club with it's pre show lasers and LEDs before Trev & Simon come on stage to swing their pants. (Save that money and put a few more seats in the gaps between the stands behind the goal and the stands at the side )

Stadium shop moving to where the ropewalk is? Was a rumour I’ve heard but could be nonsense. I wonder why, seems unnecessary, unless they massively improve the merch and we become successful I can't see the extra space being needed. Plus it would be down one end rather than central as it is now. Would be better as a bar IMO.
