thank you. someone agrees with me! why take the main aerial presence off when you have an inexperienced goalkeeper on the pitch?! no sense at all Ritchie. maybe he's resting him for L**ds, but we were still in this game when Booth went off

I'd certainly like to see the Glennon sending off - they said he might have been outside the area as well.
A full debut aged seventeen & a half against Leeds. Poor kid.
If we appealed could Glennon play?

It sounds like wallwork was taken off due to injury,boothy because glennon was sent off.
Yes it`s 4-1 but no way are southend better than us.
The sending off cost us,kamara missing a sitter while the score was 1-0 so don`t read anything into this defeat.
tactics for the first 15 minutes was wrong and team selection wasn`t great.
Williams,jevons,booth,cadamarteri all need to play for the entire 90 mins on saturday.

Keep the faith for now, if we come back and beat L**ds with a passionate performance of good football, you can eat your words ... It ain't over 'til it's over. It's still a tight league. And give it a couple of games ... we might turn around. If in five games time no turn around is on the cards then okay, forget promotion ... but a result at Leeds followed by a result at home to Brizzie Rovers ... and things could look a lot better ... we'll see aye? |

Holdsworth back to right back,williams at left back,mirfin,clarke in middle.
Cadamarteri,wallwork,collins,kamara
jevons,booth.
Formation 4-4-2 and get at leeds right from the off.

you can blame Ritchie to a certain degree, but it doesn't help that when Town started getting back into the game, Glennon gets sent-off! Glennon and Sinclair has done themselves no favours at all

Antich, tis done. I shall now keep quiet. Yet at the same time gloat, for i am one of the ten who predictied correctly.
New question for FFA, why does Davy not stop us from playing in orange shirts? Evidently tonight it has made frank think he was playing rugby of some kind with the assault on the Southend Lad!!
I hereby decare a motion to ban Huddersfield Town FC from ever wearing Orange shirts again. They are bad news.
Im sure manure have some spare grey ones kicking about?

Sinclair is an idiot. Another stupid sending off and lengthy ban. Can't believe some suggest him as a captain.Hes supposed to be an experienced head FFS. Holdsworth in at right back at Leeds? Worthy into the middle or Collins? Were going to need a loan keeper aswell. |

With all the doom and gloom on here at the moment, I still think we'll get a result against L**ds on saturday. We'll miss both Glenda and Sinco on sat but we are still capable of getting a result. Head up Smithies! Your moment to shine will come Saturday against L**ds.

I hope Worthy is fit to play on Saturday because I suspect Holdsworth will be playing right back now As for Glennon and Sinclair, lets wait for the replays before passing judgement If they've acted uprofessionally (well more so than the rest of players who clearly were thinking about Saturday) I'd leave them in Southend to make their own way home! Maybe one of the Town fans at Roots Hall will offer them a lift |
