Wishful thinking maybe....but I like to thinks it's Hoyle et al who've supported Clark in not categorically denying the move. Hoyle already trusts him to finish the job off, and its great press for the manager to be in the national papers, increasing exposure for the club and its players, increasing value and hopefully bringing more business our way in terms of shirt sponsorship for next season..... Standing by the above. Additionally if Deano has the sense we presume he has then surely he'll have known that the Leicester job would be a poisoned chalice so why not let Lee go down and have a chat with them about the job, whats on offer, and their expectations? If it happened like that he'll have known the job had too high an expectation level and Lee has everything to gain in the next 30 games with town. No brainer for me, for Dean and for Lee....stay with Town. Allowing the chat/interview gives Lee the feeling that Town trust and support him, allows him to see what else is out there. At the end of the day, if he didn't realise to what extent of a great position he's in here then he will now. Why does everyone seem to think that the rumoured interview was without Deans backing?

Except after all thats been said i doubt there was an interview. Clark has made reference to his agent i believe, it's possible any talking has gone through him, could be the terms were not in Clarks interests to pursue it. Or it's possible this is a load of cobblers, who knows.

If Clark did speak to Leicester and decided that he was better of staying put and achieving something here, then that actually puts him up in my estimation. More importantly it re-affirms that Huddersfield Town are now a force to be reckoned with if other clubs come after our manager or players.
That will definitely put a premium on the value of all our staff and hopefully make it easier to attract more good players.

TBH I think Clark and Hoyle have milked it.
Good exposure for club.
And Clark has got a top quality striker coming in January

Ian Hume is the best all round striker at this level, Rhodes is the best goal scorer at this level. Lethal combo

Don't listen to the newspapers, Billy Davies has the job and will be unveiled tomorrow. Apologies...updated info, Leicester won't be appointing Davies until next Monday at the earliest.
