Who was the ass hole commenting on Town on Look north, Commented on Towns unbeaten run and quote, 42 games unbeaten run if you don't count the play offs, we used to but now apparently we don't, what a cock, what is it with the press and the Yorkshire press at that, They are so anti or negative Town its unreal, any other club in the country or Yorkshire and the press would be doing cart wheels.  Same with us pal, they are all pro Leeds that's it. The year we won the League cup in 1991 every single TV station in the UK showed the extended highlights of the celebrations apart from Yorkshire TV, Instead they put War of the monster trucks on. Why? slightly strange seeing as we were a Yorkshire Club. |

just to say i emailed look north monday night to complain and ive had no response, so we should all boycott look north or bombard them with emails??

Thanks for your email.
I’m sorry Ian’s remark offended some supporters. I think you’re right; Huddersfield’s achievement is fantastic- when any of our clubs go 42 league games unbeaten we should celebrate the fact. We had done precisely that a week or so beforehand when we broadcast a lengthy feature about Town and the unbeaten run during a half term open day at the club; and again after the 2-2 draw at Scunthorpe a few days later. We would have devoted more time to Town on Monday were it not for the fact there was a more sport than usual in the programme on Monday.
I can reassure you Ian is not a Leeds or Bradford fan. As for the suggestion that ‘if it was Leeds we’d be treated to a one hour special’ I can assure you that’s not the case. We support all of our region’s clubs and enjoy good relations with them all except one; Leeds United.
Good luck at Swindon this weekend and for the rest of the season; and I hope you beat Forest, Arsenal and AFC Wimbledon (my team)’s records.

Yeah can't argue with that response, hopefully that clown got a bollocking - I put the link to this thread on my email so the guy is aware that it's not just a couple of cranks pissed off. More like a dozen at least!
