Perhaps we should just point the Charlton fans towards THIS. If THEY say it's official then I tend to agree. After all - it is THEIR League!

1. Without Alan Lee that definitely could happen. 2. Not sure we'll set up for a draw but Clark would take one, as would most of us. 3. That's true, but it's nice to ignore facts and just accept that we're now in the record books.

We all know that we play better against the good sides, but the Cocknees dont know that. All we have to do is keep BWP out of the game!! and the points are ours. Simples.

Not at all, Jordan was brilliant yesterday and both his goals were all his own work, with a nice cross from Hunt as an assist. Lets be honest though, Notts County offered nothing and were terrible. When Lee plays defenders tend to give him special attention which allows Rhodes to drift in and out of space easier.

Enjoyed reading that and the Wednesday forum.
Love the blind optimism and crazy statements being made from all sets of the three clubs fans.
Got to agree with Wednesday fans that us and Charlton will have a bad run of form, but what they fail to mention is they will do too.
How anybody can say,
'we will grow and go from strength to strength, during the season, whilst Huddersfield and Charlton will lose and their wheels will come off', is quite frankly an idiot.
Unless of course you have a time machine and have transported to May.

Jordans goals came from appalling defending from Pearce and two wonderful finishes from JR. Bugger all to do with Alan Lee...

I don't know what you're disagreeing with, I said both of his goals were all his own work. I'm not anti-Rhodes this season, everything I called him out on he's got better at, but he hasn't had a proper "physical" test without Lee next to him yet this season.

If anyone takes a few minute to read the Charlton board linked on here you will find they are generally a decent, well informed and educated bunch.

For what its worth I like Charlton. They are similar in many ways to us. Similar size club and fanbase and living in the shadows (as far as the media goes) of some 'big' neighbours in an unfashionable area.
Having just had a read of their forum, its interesting also the similarities of them feeling that they are ignored by the media most of the time (like us). Claridge apparently hates them because of the Millwall connections (!) For Millwall read Bradford etc etc.
Had some cracking days out down there over the years and had some great banter with what always seem like a decent bunch of fans.

This game will be the first really good side we've faced since Old Trafford, and a real gage of 'where we are as a team'
Would send a real meaasge to go there and win, as we are well capable, even without Joey G. If we are on it like Sheff U, we can definitely win the game.
2-2 would be good value I suspect...

11/1 for the 2-2 and 50/1 for 4-0 for either side- probaly fair as both possible!
