Its sad to say but Saturdays result/performance will probably have cost us anywhere between 500-1500 people for this Saturday...

I'd imagine it's the performance on Saturday rather than us losing the last 2 games that'll cost us some fans for the Wednesday game. People can accept losing if we play well, play like we give a shit, are unlucky etc, but when we play so pathetically bad, people aren't likely to think "I'm going to fork out £20 to go and watch the same players next weekend"

surely not, i know you lost your last two but 1500? We'll always take a die hard of 3k ish to a local game but we have a lot of "maybe's" who will be swayed by recent performances and will either buy on the game before or pay on the day. I'm hoping its not as many but wouldnt be surprised if we see a drop of about 1000 from what it would have been... Poor I know but I don't blame anyone after saturdays shambles...

Can't believe some people judge it on a Game by game basis but it's true. Amazing the number of times I hear "if we win today then I'll go to x next week"

Pig which end are you going in? Seeing as though you seem to enjoy the banter better with the superior Blue and white army?

Pig which end are you going in? Seeing as though you seem to enjoy the banter better with the superior Blue and white army? As you glance over to your left you will hear the loud Hillsboro' roar, not often heard at grounds now but make no mistake Hillsborough will be loud on Saturday, especially from your left.

No way have you got 6k, the away end is reduced to 5,200 That makes more sense if there are 1500 left. Should be over 4k in the end, not so bad really.

Enjoyed winning there last season, but this year would be so much sweeter. :udders: . Hilarious them counting every ticket sold like they're going to Wembley or something.

Just to clear up a few things if I may.
Yes SWFC fans are obsessed with attendances, I don't understand why but we are.
We didn't sell 4,700 at Oldham. They gave us 3,000 which we sold but then gave us an additional 1,600 seats which we only sold another 500 of. A good away following bearing in mind a few weeks before Xmas and £23 a ticket.
Anything 4,000 away fans + on Saturday is a very good turn out and I'm very happy you have both tiers as there will be great banter with the North Stand which I imagine will sell out. We have sold almost 22,000 home seats for Saturday and it's also pay on the gate so wouldn't be too surprised to see around 28,000 there on Saturday so will be an excellent atmosphere between two very good sides who play different styles of football.
I'm gonna say we will knock it as we have only dropped 2 points at home this season and we are in really good form, but who knows you certainly have players to cause us problems!

Nice one mate, it's good to hear the thoughts of another 'normal' SWFC fan. There's been some twits coming on here, but also some nice chaps too. Regarding the match, nobody on here has a clue what will happen, that's just the way our team is. We are capable of winning by a few, or losing by a few, or anything else in between ;D One thing is for sure, there will be a few

Im really looking forward to a few beers, a great atmosphere in a very old but traditional stadium. I think you are favourites but its a derby game, may the best team win !!
