I see that Cardiff are investigating allegations of excessive socialising by a few Cardiff players the night before last week's game.
Good to know that footballers are truly as thick as the stereotype protrays.

I'd happily slag them off if that were the case (well, theyprobably are thick, I'm not arguing against that), but it's more to do with the thicketyness of tabloid readers and the desire of the editors for a good story untainted by the truth.
In conclusion, they were just shit-arse bottlers and can't even blame it on hangovers. So that's OK then.

just to cheer you up elt
@danroan The plot thickens - FA now say #QPR decision "will not happen" by 4pm tomorrow as planned - announcement asap "thereafter"
@danroan FA first started investigating #QPR case back in September and still more time is needed before Championship knows where it stands

What a bunch of c****. We all know what may happen now - points deduction next season. Because they've fucked this up royally in terms of making a decision, whatever they come up with will be wrong. Either they throw this season into chaos, do little or nothing, or virtually guarantee QPR relegation next year. Each decision is wrong in some way or another.
I'll say this before Bernie does. The trial of Eichmann only took 14 weeks. What the fuck are they doing?

Aren't they just hoping that this weekend's results will mean that they can dock QPR 10 points without them losing their promotion?

I don't even think that's an option mark as the Permier League, while falling under the jurisdication of the FA submits it's own rules and sanctions annually. We haven't broken any of them, therefore I don't *think* we can be charged.
All the comments I've read about a punitive deduction going into next season seem to be attributed to "top sports lawyer" Andrew Nixon - I have a growing suspicion this man is an utter weapon. If like hoopy says our silk isn't overly bothered neither am I.
Palios can fuck right off as well - this is the man best known for stirring Sven's porridge (or Sven was stirring his it doesn't matter) and standing up to Gary Neville over a player's strike. Well done mate, now cheerio.
It's utterly shambolic they've postponed again - we'll be awarded the cup tomorrow whatever action they eventually decide to take. Then the play-off semi final 1st leg kicks off next Thursday.

Mandy, that'd be elt's option 3;
3. Minor points deduction which means QPR still go up, but which may hand the title to Norwich who probably don't want it on those terms and makes them look like etc

How about making them play in stripes for a season.

this is outstanding, even by the FA's own spectacularly incompetent standards...
I like Mandy's idea though

QPR are as far as I know the only team ever to have tried to force someone off the board by jamming a pistol into their temple and saying either their signature or their brains will be on the resignation letter and generally carrying on like someone had asked them something inconvenient on this, the day of their daughter's wedding, so it's a fucking forgone conclusion that they have CHEATED their way to the title and should face a 20 point deduction immediately. Plus, GroveR is a chubby posh fucker and deserves disappointment.
That this hasn't happened is merely more CONCLUSIVE proof of an anti-Cardiff conspiracy that extends TO THE VERY TOP of the F.A. , designed to stop us from SHOWING UP all those poncey teams in their so-called "English" "Premiership" by SMASHING them ON and OFF the pitch week in and week out.

And of course Cardiff haven't had any dodgy dealers on their board in recent seasons

The identity of some of the members of the panel has been established today: David Dein - had a stall in Shepherd's Bush when he was young. Alan Shearer - tosser. Shearer has to have a soft spot for Rangers as he scored against us nearly every time he played us. I distinctly remember thinking "that's a bit of a shit goal celebration" the first time I saw the dull geordie's finger go up - still, not as though he didn't have another 290-odd opportunities to change it around a bit. Oi Seaman Staines, I'll wear "chubby" but "posh" is simply not on.

Never. Risdale is the epitome of a GENIUS BUSINESS mind with his UNCONVENTIONAL approach to debt-reconstruction. This, coupled with Sam Hammam's PROVEN altruism, integrity and LOVE OF GRASS-ROOTS FOOTBALL and fan EMPOWERMENT SHITS your SORDID ACCUSATION into a cocked hat. A cocked hat full of piss. FACT.

No, there isn't. There literally isn't. In fact, there's probably quite a lot to assure it (apart from the ruling the roost bit)

Ladbrook Grove is hardly the Gurnos estate, Little Lord Fondleroy. Only since Richard Curtis shat out that sickly film with the floppy-fringed c*** in it. A much truer representation would have had the welsh fella getting shanked in a dark alley off Portobello in a skag deal that had gone wrong.

Latest I hear is that the FA don't want to make a decision until after Saturday so they can make a points deduction without changing a fucking thing and so avoiding disruption to the play offs and legal action from one way or another in one fell swoop.
What a bunch of utter tools they are.

Wheras I hear that no decision will be made until after the weekend. According to the Rules of the Football league, that makes QPR a Premier team and it's nowt to do with them. The Premier League will then insist they start the season with a points deduction.
Crap all round, as the teams that they have done up by playing a ringer won't get any compensation or opportunity to get into the playoffs/promoted automatically* delete as appropriate, while the Prem teams will have one less relegation spot to worry about.

Six foot two, eyes of blue, Alan McDonald's after you.
Congrats, hoopsters.

QPR and Norwich in the top flight does give it a certain feel of the 80s. We just need Watford, Oxford and Luton to get their acts together.

And swinedon - I'm sure they were founder members of the EPL soccerganza too. I'm going to have lots of fun asking gooners if they were there when Jensen scored, spurs fans if there was any truth that Pat Van Den Hauwe preferred potting the tricky brown to the easy pink with Mandy Smith and chels** fans who they bought Joe Allon from. I expect nothing but blank looks and a dogged refusal to accept football existed before 1996.

Swindon weren't founder members, they were promoted the season after. And are now considerably closer to the Blue Square Premier than the Barclay's.
Oldham were founder members I think.

Oldham along with the Pies have never played in the Eglish Soccer Elite League Champions Cup but they did sign all the paperwork the season before when it was known as Divison 1, so I believe.
