I mentioned your lad in a different wrong thread so thought I'd mention him in here to see if anyone had any info insight into his contract situation?

As far as I’m aware (and according to Transfermarkt) his contract at Town expires this summer. I would be surprised if we had offered him a new deal - I think the general consensus is that he’s a great lad, but he has a lot of improving to do before he’ll be a Championship player.

Contract expires this summer, but we have the option to extend by a year. www.htafc.com/news/2021/july/new-contracts-for-rowe--crichlow/My expectation is that we'll take that option regardless of which division we're in next season, but (particularly if we stay up) I expect that will just be to ensure we get a (small) fee for his services. If your question is whether he's likely to be available for transfer this summer and affordable to Bradford, I'd suggest yes - on both counts. Good luck to him. Deserves to be getting regular first team football.

Can't see him ever making a Championship player, which his style of play is more suited for, unfortunately. However, I think he could do a good job at League 1 level, especially if he has developed in his time with you. My City mates have said he's had a good season, though been at fault a bit lately but they can't see him playing above L1. In other news, I watched your 2nd half at Northampton, how did you manage to nick a point, let alone 3, your GK made some excellent saves? I hope the first half was better because you were battered 2nd half. That being said, you got 3 points & that's what it's all about at this stage in the season, as we well know.

Interesting that Brahima was also in the original 'Long list' They obviously want to show him that they are interested in him representing them, even though he's already represented Mali at U23s.

I heard he did well at Falkirk and then nothing much seemed to happen after that

The lad sounds incredible, tall quick, left footed , athletic and can play with the ball. How come we realesed him , or did he choose to go ? can anyone shed some light on this ?

On the face of it, he does seem a strange choice to release - especially with the list of other clubs supposedly looking at him.

Quite simply too many youngsters on the books would be my guess. We had so many ‘kids’ this season a lot of them were struggling for decent playing time with the U19s and B team. It was always likely we’d release loads, not give too many new/first pro contracts and only take on a few new scholars for next season. They’ve not even announced any new scholars for next season as yet.

Not after he left I don't think the local Shrewsbury paper would refer to us as Town, rather than them.

Teams always seem interested in tall athletic centre halves. Often don't seem to care that they actually have zero ability with a foofball at their feet

I see Gary Brazil head of Forest's academy is leaving. Produced a number of good young players, they got to the FA Youth cup final last year. Worth an approach from us to head up our academy?

Because I imagine every aspect of the club is being scrutinised by the new owners and they may decide somebody with an excellent academy record is worth looking at

Because I imagine every aspect of the club is being scrutinised by the new owners and they may decide somebody with an excellent academy record is worth looking at It could be argued that at this moment in time, those involved in our Academy have an excellent record, with a number of Academy players making contributions to the first team. Nevertheless, as I’ve said before, it’ll be interesting to see what the new owner and CEO have in mind for the Academy set up
