has sinnott's loan ended or is he still there but played for u21s anyway? He was supposed to be on loan until January on a six month deal I think, but it ended early for some reason and is presumably now back training with us (possibly due to Bury sacking Blackwell).

Went to the game at Bury today. Second time I have seen 21's this season. First time was also against Wednesday (4-1 win at home). Carr has scored a lot of goals this season but there is something just not there with him. He seems to lack game intelligence and struggles to really get hold of the ball and bring other men into the game. Maybe that will come with experience. Overall was quite disappointed with the game. After a good start Town just retreated into their shell. Sinnott and Holmes played in odd bursts here and there but neither could really influence the game. Wednesday were on top but the game changed for town when Mullin came on with about half an hour to go. He made intelligent runs and seemed to find space where there was none before and created three chances for others and one for himself. This seemed to spark Sinnott and Holmes into life too and Town looked the most likely winners the longer the game went on. That was until Wednesday scored! Anybody know where Crooks is? Crooks out 'til Christmas. Told me himself on Wednesday.

2-1 win for the U21s, both goals from Danny Carr coming in the opening half hour. Derby got one back halfway through the 2nd half but Town saw it out.

My MOM was probably captain Tommy Smith at right back. He seems just as good going forward as he is in defence. Put in some great tackles and I believe he also got both assists.

Does anyone know how many Carr has scored this season? Numbers for other players would be nice too.. Holmes, Lopez, Charles, etc.

Think Charles has scored 9 in 9 for the 18s in the number 10 role aswel as plenty of assist, flo bojaj has hit 7 in 7 I believe aswel. Not sure about Carr but including his Pre season goals I'd have thought he will defiantly be in double figures!!!

I like that he seems to have a footballing brain; I thought he read the game well and was positionally sound. There's a bit of composure about him, so I wouldn't mind seeing how he does in the centre (which I remember reading was his other position). Of course, most of this is based on yesterday's performance. I saw him play once before and thought he was decent, but didn't stand out. Jazz Richards loan ends in December (IIRC), so we might see Smith get promoted into first team action. I would be surprised if he didn't at least make the bench.

www.swanseacity.net/news/article/u18s-beat-huddersfield-h-1163990.aspxAnybody on here seen anuthing of the under 18 squad this year?-Reading the match report from this morning which is obviously biased towards Swansea seems to suggest that Town's style of play is "direct" which is often a euphemism for hoofball. I was hoping that our youth academy was instilling the Mark Robins philosophy of playing from the back-possession style and playing through the thirds.

About 10 years ago I saw Town's Academy team, featuring the likes of Lloyd, Holdsworth and Mirfin, away at Crystal Palace on a Saturday morning. I think Town ended up losing 3-2, but the most memorable incident was that Town scored after about 8 seconds (Danny Clapham, I think). The fastest first team goal I ever saw was by Kevin Johnson against Hartlepool in February 1977, who scored after 17 seconds!

I don't know too much about Bojaj other than the lad can't stop scoring! Was he one of the young trialists we had training at the start of the season?
