I noticed in your comments that you have found a big screen to replace the scoreboard and you are going to see what other board members think. I don't have time at the moment to read through all the reply's and was just wondering....
...Are Huddersfield Town going to be paying towards this new big screen?
If we are, why?
We don't own the stadium or even a percentage of it, we simply pay massive amounts of rent so I don't see a reason why we should pay anything towards it.

A rented house is not a public facility though is it. Also the Galpharm is used by the giants as well and they actually own a percentage of the stadium. I cant remember if the giants own 40% or 60% of the stadium but if they own 60% of it they should pay 60% towards the new big screen and then the council or KSDL or whoever owns the other percantage should pay the other 40% as it is a public facility.
(My percantages may be the wrong way round I'm not sure)

To be honest I see the arrangement like the Giants own the stadium and we're a lodger in "their" home It's the Giants home so they should pay 100% to make it nice otherwise they'll lose the lodger I don't see the problem the Giants are so minted they can throw us a £400k loan! So for a club of their wealth to find say £250k for a refurb of the ground (scoreboard, new pitch, lick of paint) should be easy!!!

I just wanted to ask Sean the question because IMO i don't think we should have to pay towards it as we don't own any part of the stadium.

Are HTFC actually being asked to pay for the screen, on their own??

BUT if we use it more would we not pay more for it.....? Surely we'd pay our fair share towards it when we pay our ridiculous amounts of rent anyway.

In all seriousness I would imagine everyone would chip in a bit
I would be interested to know whose accounts the new scoreboard will appear as an assett on?
HTAFC, Giants, KSDL? A mixture of the three

Is it worth it? what extra will it bring to the match day experience? OK you can see replays of goas etc, but are the fans that bothered?? As for the Giants, i cannot see that it will benefit either, same thing, you'll see re runs of tries etc, but so what? If they need a big screen for televised games, sky bring their own.

Come on Sean,we await answers, you didn't get off to a good start telling us you dont have time to come on here regularly, only for us to find out you log on quite often. In my opinion you are worthless to us who want answers about the real issues. The lack of noise from the board is :-Xdeafening How can you sit there watching a great club die,i understand you can't tell us the truth,so pack your bags ,resign, and walk away with your head held high.

Was there really any need for that? He's taken time to answer our questions but still some people arent happy. Obviously he wont be able to tell us absolutely everything thats going on at the club but do you really expect him to. If you want him gone so badly e-mail him personally. Or don't you have the balls?

Apologies for my other alias appears admin have made a slight error as my old account doesn't seem to work now.... (Change of email..?) Anyway, where was I.. Sorry Fox "Banjo" Mulder - didn't realise ANYONE had the truth... If the figures were there may be a riot not a low key protest. Or maybe you have you spent time "drilling down" into Huddersfield Towns books and drawn your own conclusions - or do you know what you've been told..? Hmmm... If so please enlighten me on all your factual information, i would be appreciate it very much. Erm.. Not the first time I have been "accused" a Rugby Fan. Not at all, you may like overweight men running into each other I am not of that persuasion. Straws. Well done for the most intellectual post I've seen on here so far. Well thought out.

If thats aimed at me......then you can obviously see that I am not only interested in hot dog queue (yes you do spell it like that) questions because I have asked what i consider to be a 'REAL QUESTION' by asking him if Huddersfield Town will be paying towards the big screen, and then stating my opinion that I believe we shouldnt have to pay anything towards it.
I supose you have some 'REAL QUESTIONS' do you? I'll let you ask all the questions now then shall I?

Mr Slapp's can we please have some intelligent crossfire please, morons will always keep me silent...
I use 4 sheets, and unlike sean I go front to back. Dont want my balls smelling.

Jarvis mentioned that they had to look at the revenue the new scoreboard will generate when deciding whether to buy one. All advertising revenue goes to KSDL. The stadium is owned by KSDL (40% KMC, 60% HSP [ the Giants in reality])
HTFC pay extortionate amounts of rent for a stadium WITH A WORKING SCOREBOARD. The landlord is not providing the facilities HTFC are paying for. HTFC should have a reduction in their rent or the landlord should provide the facilities HTFC are paying for.
All that means KSDL should pay 100% for the new scoreboard and any other improvements that are badly overdue. If you rent a house out as furnished with a cooker and that cooker conks out, you have to replace the cooker with one that works. It is not the tennants responsibility.
But we all know that won't happen. HTFC will be paying for the new scoreboard. probably the biggest chunk of it and no doubt just in time for the superleague season to start. Just add it to the long list of other things we buy but dont own or get benefit from. Sean Jarvis himself could fall into that bracket it seems.
