Here's a thought ... Why not set Nick up with an entire 'section', much like The Buxton Lounge, and name it Where Are They Now? He could be the sole moderater and would police it; those who are not interested could avoid it instead of posting snydey comments all the time. He could post what he feels to be interesting facts, photos, videos, quotes about ex-players, managers, groundsmen, directors, tea-ladies, et alia, to his heart's content and, who knows, it might interest other visitors to the site. It would also remove the plethora of random threads of that type from the main board. Might die on its arse, but Nick - and lots of others - would be happy.  What do we have to lose?  |
