Aaron Mooy got 5 minutes for Brighton. I guess it's not inconceivable he'll be a bit part player for them. He doesn't strike me as the type to be happy sat on the bench. What a waste. I wonder if he was really so desperate to sit on the bench at a premier league team rather than play for town. I think the club were just desperate to cash in. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards How did we actually cash in? Unless we got at least £5m I think Brighton had our pants down.

And so the new season starts for the old boss over on BT sport. Aye, 0-0 away at Borussia Mönchengladbach. Schalke started off with 5 straight defeats last season, so their fans are relatively pleased with the start. It was a game devoid of much quality. Jonjo Kenny got forward quite a bit, put some crosses into the box but no one really there to put them away. Seemed like a game plan we've seen plenty of times.

I agree seems a great deal for Brighton and effectively ends any hope we had of bouncing back. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

You have a player who is in his last year at the club. He's a premier league player and wants to play in the premier league. A premier league club come in for him at the 11th hour. You know if you keep the player for the final year you will get nothing for him at the end of it and he will be a demotivated underperforming player for the remaining 9 months . What would you do ? Come on mate, we are all raw. But the bullets are being fired in the wrong direction

Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards God you're talking nonsense now . You think Mooy didn't want to go and Town forced him out? That's just not true I think town were very keen on making money out of mooy leaving. Im still not sure what the contact situation was with all the web site editing fiasco. Do you think they were genuinely happy to keep all of the top players, on top money for this season despite the fact they may depreciate? I tend to take what the club says with a pinch of salt because a lot of it, particularly recently, just sounds like made up bull shit. Maybe it's completely true and Mooy was desperate to up sticks, go to Brighton and sit on the bench in a relegation battle. I just see lots of clubs hang on to their prized assets whilst predictably town let their game changer and only chance of success leave. Not for a kings ransom but a fucking loan deal to get his wage off the books and guarantee a better fee next year. Unless of course he barely plays or gets injured in which case they'll be left looking a bit silly....again. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

Pressley nearly got announced as town manager a few years ago if my sources at the time were correct

Jan Siewert was sacked after the Lincoln game but pleaded for one more chance hence the Phil on the phone nonsense.
From a player “all he did at half time was about and scream at the players with no tactics given”

Just seen that Lolo has scored both goals for Ghent tonight in their 2_1 home win. Isn't it remarkable that players who were big disappointments at Town seem to do well elsewhere. Coaching and motivational leadership could hold the key perhaps.!
