Allowed to spend a shitload in the summer, but not given much time with the new team. Should have been sacked at the end of last season.

Urgh... Klopp singing You'll Never Walk Alone in front of "the greatest fans" (trademark). A hipster football wanker's wetdream. Awful.

Great news. Horrible c***, horrible club. Guarantee it wasn't their fault though Takes me back to the day when Kenny 'went' after a Derby. You could see the bloke mentally melt on the touchline. Happy Days!

Now all you bandwagon jumpers have got involved you've entirely ruined the scene. I'm off to hate El Vigia of Venezuela. You've probably never heard of them...

Problem with Liverpool is they spend a load of brass on shite, whilst Man City, United and Chelsea go out and buy quality proven winners, that's why Liverpool are nowhere near touching any of the big clubs.

Some fans on here, Yet Chelsea are 5th from bottom and Liverpool are? Yes They can't touch the bigger clubs. frustyHe may have signed some shit and spent a load but when the board sell Suarez and Sterling what the fuck is the manager expected to do, Yes sure both players had heads turned but like west brom with their striker and Everton with Stones the Board should have stood firm. You can't lose that many goals and expect to be challenging at the top.

Rogers took the heat like powell is here, for signing players he didn't want and having to play them in a system he does want.
Were dempsey and Hiwula Powells players for example? Even paterson? I doubt it... now he takes the heat for them not playing. Did he want to sell butterfield, Coady and smithies? It's modern football recruitment systems thats done for Rogers and will do for powell as well.

I expect the big question will be 'what will The Kop think of this? Is The Kop happy? Every single article will mention it- the stand behind the goal like its an actual person, rather than what it is- a stand, no different from any other at loads of grounds. All part of the self- proclaimed 'specialness' of Liverpool FC that still gets indulged by the media 25 years into Liverpool being nothing more than a top flight also-ran.
Rodgers had them pretty much where they should be- 5th or 6th. He looked like he might do better than that and move them up a notch in the grand scheme of things, but lost his best 3 players through injury (to Sturridge) and the other 2 daring to want to play for better teams. But he isn't 'special' enough to manage such a 'special' club, with its 'special' Kop.

It looked on the cards especially when MOTD pundits keep questioning how long he will be at the club. Long history of winning but nothing for some time. Owner has bought into the ethos of winning cups and is seeing no return on huge amounts of investment.
