Is this why whenever I’m over I there I see those defibrillator machines everywhere? I think the closest we have to mucky fat is crisco, which we use to grease pans before baking No please, nothing like that. Get yourself to Haighs Farm shop, only a mile or so from Marstons. Now timing is of the essence, Wednesday or Fridays seem to be the best for getting a pot of Mucky fat, it's that popular it's gone before you know it. Thick slice of white bread with a nice thick smear of fat on it, sprinkle of pepper, there's no going back. Its almost impossible to find beef dripping in the USA, if you are lucky you can get lard, up north, but for the most part, Crisco is all you get Also, if he did go to Haighs and tried to take that back with him, he would almost certainly get arrested. They have not forgotten mad cow over here, Brits cannot even give blood in a lot of states because of it. |
