Saw today that we could potentially be with NO strikers for this gameš.
Surely not true?
Healey - Injured, again.. Koroma - Internationals (Sierra Leone) Marshall - Internationals (Northern Ireland) Ward - Suspended?š¤£ Radulovic - Injured Harratt - Loaned Hudlin - Loaned

I think ward's suspension only applies to league games. He should be made to play every minute of the paint cup purely as a punishment

What's the crack with these games? Do we have to give a fuck about them?

I suspect Ward will be suspended for this, I see no reason why he wouldn't be. We certainly don't need anymore injuries or red cards from this. Doncaster are a decent side as well and if I were Duff given the injury and suspension situation I'd be going as risk adverse for this as I could.
Is anyone actually going to this? It is on the red button as well.

What's the crack with these games? Do we have to give a fuck about them? No idea. You certainly had to start so many first team regulars in previous seasons. Resulted in Sheffield Wednesday substituting their goalkeeper at Bradford City after 30 seconds. Suspect that was a fuck you to the authorities for the daft rules trying to make the cup relevant.

Ive never before wanted Town to not even turn up for a match before, however this match is a pointless exercise, that exposes us to more risk.
I appreciate that's defeatist, but given our luck with injuries and refs sending players off at will...
Get more minutes in Turton and Ruffles legs, play Chapman and Iorpenda for the whole match ... anything else positive we can do?

Those saying can we lose, get a grip.
Winning breeds momentum and a winning mentality.
Regardless of who plays, we need to win this game end of.
We should look to win every game we play.

I would agree, I never want Town to lose any game, any Town fan who does is a twat in my eyes but we certainly don't need any more injuries or suspensions from this. We certainly could do with a pick me up.

I like how Iāve personally gone from scouring news about decent striker loan and purchase opportunities for the club just a few days ago to suddenly hearing āPawel Abbottās ladā referenced on a few different posts and saying āfuck itā, put whoever he is up against Donny.

Couldnāt give a toss about the result. But Iād really like us to go back to passing the ball (Hodge in for Hogg, for example) and get that high press back we had in the first game.

Would play the 6 available that were on the bench yesterday plus Pearson. Other 4? Has to be from B team. Although may have to play a couple that started yesterday. Sorensen needs a rest. Mistake not getting a back up RWB or keeping Eccleston when wing backs are key to the way we set up.

Ward can play as only suspensions recieved in the EFL Trophy can be served in the EFL Trophy Are we sure? This has been the case for accumulated cautions for some time across all competitions, but I don't think that's the case for suspension from dismissal - unless the EFL Trophy runs on a completely different set of rules to everything else, which seems about right. We should be appealing regardless. And even if Ward is available, I'd chuck young Abbott in as about the only other option we've got. Otherwise, I'd be playing a strong side.

Itās the EFL Trophy not the EFL Cup The title needs changing to Trophy, obviously the EFL Cup is what we commonly know as the League Cup.
