I agree he'd be in every week for Villa....he probably would get 30 games with us but when the 3 games in a week crops up he would more than likely be rotated with Payne or whoever.

If his agents comments in the Examiner are to be believed they obviously havent done enough research with our squad rotation policy... "It has to be the right club, somewhere where he will play regularly. It doesn’t have to be the sexiest club in the Championship, for instance, or the biggest club, rather somewhere where he gets match time. "There's no point in being somewhere like (newly-relegated) Aston Villa where he might get say 10 games in a season when he could be playing for Brighton and getting 30 games." There's a difference between playing and starting though isn't there? I'd imagine that with no injuries Mooy would be playing 30 games, it just depends on how many he starts and how many minutes he gets. Him and Payne will be rotating and both are unknowns at this level so it's hard to say who'd be preferred (perhaps Mooy if he's taking the #10 shirt), but he's going to be at least on the bench as a minimum most games you'd expect.

I'm talking out of my ass but I can see this being quite a cheap deal for Town. The situation with him transferring between clubs in the City network just to get him into English football just strikes me as one where Dean and the club would negotiate a very favourable deal financially.

This one if it happens has certainly come out of the blue all the other signings seem to have been rumoured on here 1st Mooy and his agent seem to have announced this one.

I dont know much about the lad tbh, is he an attacking midfielder?

Does this mean we are no longer after that young lad from Chelsea on a season long loan? He was a midfielder too. I'd be surprised if we brig another midfielder in now. We need another striker, a right back, left back and keeper before another midfielder. Lb and a keeper already signed

And good that we have productive links with Man City. I expect Pep will be turning a few over.

Definitely one from left field this.
Seriously doubt any more central midfielders will come in now.
I expect a striker will be top priority and that could be it. There maybe a new wingback but can't see anymore than that coming in now.

Nowt wrong with lying about saying he will play plenty of games, otherwise no one would want to loan us quality players,,,I'm not saying Wagner is telling porkies,,,but if he's good he will play alot,,,if he's shite he won't,so he can fuk off, thats how id manage us

I'd be surprised if we brig another midfielder in now. We need another striker, a right back, left back and keeper before another midfielder. Lb and a keeper already signed It's well documented that were after another senior keeper and currently our second left back is Davidson. This is my rational for these positions being a priority over another midfielder.

He also takes penalties so we have Nakhi Wells, Chris Löwe and now Mooy. I seem to recall that DW said it was normal in Germany for any penalty taker who was awarded a penalty because of a foul on them, would not take the penalty. Options now!
