Hayden: Newcastle are cup final for rivals - Daily Telegraph"Isaac Hayden bemoaned another opponent raising their game for a "cup final" against Newcastle United, but if they continue to perform like this then Rafa Benitez's side will swiftly lose their status as Championship scalp." Ah! The, "it's your cup final excuse"... again. there are a load of players just waiting to play in front of a very big crowd..unfortunately it seems Newcastle didnt sign any.. it can make or break you..we seemed to enjoy it immensely...others will as well... dont play the crowd, play the championship team that is in front of you..

This guy thinks they should be beating Huddersfield town at home Can't get this obsession with some folk sitting in front of a PC/webcam and posting their 'thoughts' onto camera for potential eternity, his friends & foes bookmarking that page for when he has another strop & want to remind him how daft he looks... He could have wrapped that up in about a minute if he'd got to the point & not kept repeating himself... There's a good chance N'Castle will finish above Town, but if they don't it will probably say more about how Town have improved as opposed to N'Castles decline... Whether we like it or not, Huddersfield isn't particularly fashionable in the scheme of things, but the benefit of that is that we'll never go out of fashion... Town fans should grasp the concept of being under expectant - it makes games like Sat and other notable successes a far better personal experience than say, a Man Utd fan who's just seen them qualify for the last 16/8 of the FA Cup...

9.8/10 weekend. Great away day, weekend up in the north east, ale and lots of it, a convincing town performance by every single player, a deserved late winner to make the crowd go COMPLETELY NUTS, singing along with 3200 legends for 90mins,watching datm's henry chianski ordering a pitcher of blue lagoon with a gin and tonic and baileys chaser at 11am in a Geordie weatherspoons...sometimes spending an obscene amount of money watching town away pays off... Great weekend. Even think I copped a glance at the famous Nickhudd on the early Saturday train.

Newcastle must have more Witherspoons than anywhere else, I came across 3 yesterday. There's 5 in the city centre like.
