Difficult to spot but it was handball. Is that 'our' Murray Wallace playing for Millwall?

Oliver endearing himself again. You can bet it would be chalked off if we scored a goal like that against them!

Michael Oliver used to be a good ref. It's all got to his head an he keeps on making mistake after mistake.
But so long as it isn't against the top 6, he'll keep on getting away with it.

Had a decent game... other than the 1 big decision he had to make! At least it makes him look simply crap and less like a blatent cheat

play Everton, every single chance you get load it into the box.. not sure how you 'direct' the ball into the goal by moving your arm after the ball has long since bounced off it?
handball it is, but its hit him rather than anything else..cant blame the ref he could not see it so didnt guess, lino similarly was unsure so its a goal....
no VAR so showing it on the big screen afterwards is daft but should not change the decision..
Everton having a tough time looking as though they were ever really arsed to play this one? Gilfi looks like he has already 'moved on'....?

Ref got it spot on for Millwall's second goal. The ball hit Cooper's arm but the movement wasn't until after it had bounced off it.

If you look at the aftermath, how is it a player 2 yards from Oliver can immediately see it's handball but he can't?
It's also an identical position to the penalty he didn't see on Pritchard, showing he clearly hasnt improved his positioning and isn't learning from his mistakes.

Always said Wallace was quality. Would have kept us up if we hadn't sold him.

Handball has to be deliberate in my refrees rulebook. The English refereeing body told all the refs after the Arsenal goal v Burnley a couple of years back. They didn't want goals being scored via a hand, and I think that's sensible. This was mentioned after the Wolves goal against City earlier in the year. Sounds like it will be a formal rule next year from what I remember from a month or so back. Dermot Gallagher also made a very good point after the Boly goal earlier in the year. A player is only offside if a part of his body he can score with is in front of the last defender. Arms and hands aren't counted, implying you can't score with them.

I didnt realise they could just change the rules on whim.
