Why do you think we haven't sold Payne? Lolley has talent and with a full championship season behind him could a) be good enough or b) be worth 3 or 4 times what he is now. Or could a) be not good enough and b) worth nowt... I can see the logic in loaning him out but I doubt he will be a mainstay of our team anytime soon whatever division we are in .. if we loan him to a championship club I don't see him playing more than 10-15 games.. I don't really see any progression from the player Scunthorpe sent back., Thought he looked comfortable in the middle vs udinese. Not saying he's good enough for the prem, but xmas on loan playing in a 10 role May do him the world of good. Not sure he's suited to the wing he's so one footed.

He is just unfortunate that we got promoted when we did, he would have been our starting number 10 otherwise.

According to Inside Futbol, Badu has distanced himself from a move to Huddersfield, seen that whilst browsing on Huddersfield articles on NewsNow.

Thankfully hoggy now kicks the ball properly rather than smacking it, jack needs the same coaching. Nice to see joe lolley playing some nice stroked passes vs udinese. Another one that struggled with the timing on his passes last year.

Nixon also thinks any Lolley deal will be a loan.

Ipswich in for bunn according to Nixon 500-600k Would be a bit sad to see Bunn go, but we have moved on and hes not Wagner's type of player, I hope we settle for a bit less with a big sell on, as his goals and assists record will surely get him a bigger move in future.

I always thought Wagner liked Bunn and gave him a new contract. Probably not going to get much playing time in the PL though and that price quoted sounds pretty fair.

They've just bought Garner for 1 million so that must make bunn worth about 25 million

They've just bought Garner for 1 million so that must make bunn worth about 25 million Well, Bunn is a "premier league forward" these days. A full strength Ipswich XI got stuffed 6-1 by Charlton last week, so I think Mick's backside is well and truly in the bacon slicer at the moment. Probably a good relegation bet.

Could nahki be telling porkies ? Wonder if he's exaggerating his injury so that selling him is out of the window till at least January , that way he will achieve his PL ambition and move in Jan , after all we know from day 1 that's all he's wanted and if you recall we (Huddersfield) were a stepping stone to allow him to achieve that

Another one that struggled with the timing on his passes last year. Not sure that is actually poor technique as such. The biggest problem for these fringe players is getting match fitness. I guess you could say it's a bit of a circular argument but these players need to be playing week in week out. That's why the old reserve system was better that what they currently have for players like Payne and Lolley. What I notice most about Lolley, even v Udinese, was that by the time he thinks of passing - the moment has gone, play as moved on, he passes! That's what is so good about Palmer - he moves it on / makes his passing decisions very early.

Dwayne Holmes has bags of talent He can't touch Lolley in terms of ability and where were his bags of talent when he played for us, I certainly never saw it, I never thought he was the messiah, unlike many on here He's not the Messiah; he's a very naughty boy!

Swap or exchange with Crainie and Yiadom? If so, we need another centre half at least until christmas.

Barnsley rumoured to be interested in Lolley? Lolley + £1.5M = Yiadom perhaps? actually if this is the case, then they would owe us a shit tonne of money. Lolley worth far more than Yiadom. Think Premier League.

Luke Coddington played for Northampton Town today against Corby Town. For Once, it appears a good move is lined up for one of the young goalkeepers.
Regan Booty also on trial at Yeovil.
