From today's issue of The Times. Could you not send off for missing stickers in 1979? I recall when i collected World Cup 1990 and 1994 that you could send off for up to 50 I think.

Gawd! But... having said that... they are pretty recognisable. Love the one of Efe... and Frank still manages to look cool...

It’s great they’re having a go, but the Billy Smith one looks like the bloke from Earth, Wind and Fire 🤦🏼♂️

Got some spares if anyone is missing any for their set - not got a spare Bacuna though.
PM me with any requests and I'll see if I've got a spare.

No new Town cards for the foreseeable, so I guess that these postcards fall into the "etc." part of the thread title! Love 'em!!

And speaking of unbelievable... This is a modern card, not an antique or even vintage card. Produced by Topps for their 2018/19 Champions League set, it's a "Red W ave Refractor parallel" (there were parallels of most Topps Town cards during their EPL adventure). Not even signed or anything like that. Sold on eBay on 19th June. It's not even unique. It's numbered 10/10 so there are nine more out there with possibly 1/10 being the most sought-after. Incidentally, this very same card had been sold on eBay on 19th April for a mere $3500...

The last couple of years has seen an explosion in people buying/trading/speculating baseball cards (and other sports) with zero care or knowledge of the sport. Cards are doubling in value every quarter, so people can't wait to get their hands on them (thus pushing up the price) as they feel it'll be easy money a bit further down the line. Of course, it'll all come crashing down soon...

The odd one out there is David Moyes, Brazil. In his mind Brazil are not good enough for him.

Quick question.
Does anybody else have a set of these Town Trumps? I've been contacted by someone who does and his set DOES contain a Frank Worthington card! However... he doesn't have a Shankly card! What is going on here?

Forgot about these. Would only buy for the pleasure of having them but £12?!?! Jesus wept.
Shame that couple who draw footballers, the knock-off Panini stickers, don’t draw club Top Trumps!

No. Where did you find it? It looks like a repro rather than a card. And that's not the First XI. I don't think that I could name any player on there. Officials, perhaps.

Amazingly it was on a Birstall ancestry website I’ve come across. Almost at the bottom of the attached there is a link to Kirklees Image Archive. The pic is on there. maggieblanck.com/Land/PhotosBirstall.html
