Totally agree with the loyalty scheme , and it must be nice to be in a position to watch town every match home and away Sadly their are true fans who cannot make it to many matches which are for reasons mainly out of their control , and it will be these non season ticket holders fans who might not be able to get a ticket to watch a Town Premier league match this season. Just glad i was watching town in in the top flight the 70s , as i and others had the opportunity to watch almost every match which was due to standing room . It would be nice to see the introduction of " safe standing " at Premier league grounds especially if it allows a bigger allocation of home and away tickets Yeah i know its been covered and explanations given, but the allocation of away tickets is paltry,in fact its piss poor for the self acclaimed `best league in the world`.

Must say I'm very surprised some tickets got to the ballot stage....not as popular as some thought these Premier League away games. How hard is it to read how the allocation works!? I'm priority 1 so makes no odds to me how it works.

Would 5,000 fans be happy paying £50 at Selhurst Park? My personal opinion is that I wouldn't approve of paying that much to watch Palace. That's just me but I imagine a few would happily pay that.

My CP supporting mate told me only three clubs didn't sell their full allocation for Selhurst Park last season (Boro, Sunderland and Swansea). He wasn't surprised when I said Town had sold out.

For others waiting, there was no email, just a phone call. As soon as I saw the 01484 number, I was like a kid at Christmas! How did they introduce theirselves, "Hi, this is straightalke.....errrrr, Huddersfield Town here, just calling up for your bank details...."?!

What are you on about?! You're the one guessing and making up statements. Many of the loyal 4000 were below someone who'd had a ticket just 3 years plus a 20 quid tot when it was originally announced. It's all screwed. bit of a misnomer the 'loyal 4000'... you get a refund and a wallet.. if you were not 'loyal' after that or didnt join a scheme then your 'reward' was the refund and wallet.. the 'promise' was therefore kept by Dean with a wallet chucked in for good measure.. can you give figures for how many of the 'loyal 4000' are not in a priority group? can you give numbers for 'loyal 4000 who kept their loyalty with continuing season cards and memberships' the extra 'promise' there was priority away tickets, as published in the foundation blurb... therefore that 'promise' was also kept by Dean.. or are you just shouting a lot...? life is not always fair as you see it or as I see it.. I and many others took the promises made as good and they have been made good on.. When you supply figures that show more 'loyal(using whatever method you choose to prove this difficult premise) fans have missed out than benefitted, I will have another think about it.. Of course Dean made good on his season card promise, nobody expected anything less. The away priority system is more a case of the tail wagging the dog though.

chances are a load of ballot tickets could go to people who tipped up at wembley and now bought a season card for the first time?? its as likely as P1 being full of people who 'never ever travel'... difference is I dont care that they get tickets... or clappy getting his..He might get Liverpool the same way, whilst I might miss out... I paid for a chance to buy tickets, the ballot winners will be paying for whatever they win.. think of all the people who want to go but cant afford to win the ballot etc etc etc etc etc.. life just isnt fair.. the second it is come back to me before the 'most equal' starts f-cking everyone else over, again... Thanks for more bollocos on the subject I think now after all these weeks what your feelings are Careful that you don't trip in that bottom lip Ted eh? What priority are you? Did you apply for the ballot? I felt like the kid who won the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory golden wrapper when I saw the Huddersfield code incoming call today. It's my Dad's 70th today. Over the years, me and my Dad have taken turns driving the Panzer Wagen all over the country following Town, through thick and thin. This included Boston, Southend, Bournemouth, Colchester and many other sh1tholes.

How is giving Home fans the advantage of filling their ground paltry? Town have decided to put home fans before away fans by giving town fans part of the south stand and give away teams less of advantage compared to previous years so I'm not sure we have any right to berate an allocation of 2800. To me, home grounds are for home fans first and foremost. The allocation we've got at Palace is far from paltry.

It was the first away game of 2003/04 ( the season we beat Mansfield at Cardiff ) - game finished 2-2 , same as the first home game against Cambridge the week before. Of course in relation to priority for away tickets as a premier league club I understand that "some people" also went back to Boston for a midweek, LDV Vans Trophy Round 1 defeat two years later which would make them Priority 1****** wouldn't it

All premier league clubs agreed to limit away ticket prices to £30 (max). Seeing as they can usually sell tickets to home fans for prices higher than £30 they limit the number of away fans.
Clubs have to provide a minimum of 3k tickets for away fans if the ground holds over 30,000. If the capacity is less than 30,000 they have to provide a minimum of 10% of the capacity.

I have the photo somewhere that was front p age examiner., we were in a beer garden before the game and the Everton team bus went past so we were giving them the finger. In the same examiner article as our photos it said town want to thank Everton for lending them the bus as towns broke down. That bit was more embarrassing than dressing as a wpc. It was all Bruce armitages fault/ idea.
