I’ll be ‘glad all over' if Town win because ‘I like it like that’. I want my Spurs mates to be ‘Hurting Inside’. So Town ‘everybody get together’ you’ve ‘got what it takes’ but ’don’t try too hard’ I don’t want to be ‘crying over you’
‘Everyone knows’ they’ll be in ‘bits and pieces’ ‘whenever your around’.
‘Any way you want it’ is fine with me but ‘wait till the right one comes’ lets have em ‘reeling and rocking’ for the next ‘nineteen days’
So Spurs ‘catch us if you can’.

ah the good old dave clark 5 I spent ages composing that and you come along and shatter it in a minute. Should have guessed there’d be a few oldies sniffing around. Interestingly they made it big in the US before the Beatles with their ‘Tottenham sound’

This on one of the spurs forums: "I have been weighing up the pros & cons of Huddersfield Patrick Stewart supports them - positive Harold Wilson was born there - negative They hate Leeds - positive They speak funny - negative They don't play in red - positive They invented Rugby League - negative Britain's largest nodding dog (11 feet) was made there - positive 4-3 in favour. Its official, we don't hate them." A few Tottenham pros and cons ... There's lots of gang crime - negative Leslie Phillips was born there - positive They have lots of riots - negative They burnt down Allied Carpets - positive Their fans do a great rendition of "When the Spurs go marching in" - positive The singer Adele was born there - all previous pros/cons rendered irrelevant, we fucking hate them.

Same squad as Burnley game, no new injuries, no one back from injury. Wasn't sure about DW's comment of 'we want to pull them down to our level', however, who the hell am i to comment, i know nothing.

Remember the youth cup final match in the early 70s more than the top flight games town played against then

A great unique song not sung as much these days (ha) but I'm sure I heard it from SS v Leicester? Need to slow it down to something approaching the original to here the words

I find it irratating that I can't read comments on the Spurs equivalent of DATM. While I can understand that I should register there to place a comment, I find the insular attitude of "Come on you Spurs" somewhat worrying. www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forumor www.glory-glory.co.uk/community/forums/spurs-news-views.2/I assume you are talking about COYS forum? Most of us are banned from there! No THFC negativity/questioning mods/taking the mick out of 'ITKs' is allowed whatsoever. There is also Spurs Community which i believe is an open forum. More Terriers "in Peace" on there than on here now.

Has Mark Lawrenson ever had Liverpool down to lose in his BBC PL prediction contests?
I'm not putting this into the moaning or daft media conspiracy theorist bucket, but he does seem to be grinding his teeth as to how much he expects us to lose every week... I can't imagine that even the most rose tinted of Liverpool fans would take him seriously now...
I suppose Town could just try keeping on proving him wrong...

We werent supposed to be able to compete with Newcastle, wednesday, brighton, villa etc last season... yet look what happened when little old huddersfield turned up.
Every chance of an upset tomorrow.

And you thought Southerners don't know anything about things North of Watford. From the Spurs forum....."I've been to Huddersfield before. It's a strange place - a pit village surrounded by striking hills" Ah, I remember the good old days when all the Town supporters arrived at the game grimy faced direct from their shift at one of the scores of pits surrounding the town. Pit head winding gear everywhere you looked, cleverly disguised as textile mills......

Yes...Burnley managed a 1-1 draw at Spurs so the Terriers should have every chance of at least a point.
