Who's crying? I was just questioning how it would be possible to make this assertions based on having seen them for practically no time at all at this level and when they have not had a chance to gel with the team. As ever, DATM descends all too quickly into childish insinuation. I really can't be arsed to respond in kind. Its boring. What’s boring is what you’ve done which is just dismiss an opinion without any reasoning or without any alternative opinion put forward. If you can’t pick up and make a snap opinion on a player and then refine it all the time as things progress, then what’s the point....do we not talk about Pritchard for a month because it’s “too early” to judge him?! What's boring is you going straight for the "no need to cry" angle. Crying wasn't on my mind. Perhaps it was on yours. I don't know. I don't have to have an opinion after seeing them appear in a team for 30 minutes that was already well beaten. I'll bet you are a joy to know with your going for patronising passive aggressive insults at the earliest opportunity. Still, no need to cry about that either.

Yeah it was nuclear bombs what did it! No planes involved at all- they were superimposed on peoples minds.. and cameras. And besides theyre made out of aluminium so would only crumple against the side of the building and fall off. Whats the security like at your place? Do they know you have access to a computer? Why did I know it wouldn't be long before you came along with your infantile rantings. As this isn't the subject of this thread I won't say much but I'll just point out the only way that 90% of a 110 story building made of concrete and thousands of 2 inch steel box girders can turn into microscopic dust is as a result of an underground nuclear detonation. Nothing else would have achieved this. Would you also quote the law of physics that would enable a plane with a 3mm aluminium shell to penetrate and even disappear into the said building, wings as well, without breaking up. There is even an official video that shows the nose of the plane protruding from the opposite side of the building! No further comments are necessary. I think you are the one that should be put in a padded cell Captain. a 110 sto Yeah yeah, im sure all that stacks up. Listen, you're clearly a sandwich short of a picnic, but i do want you to know I enjoy your posts immensely. So do people at work for that matter. All the 9/11 stuff was comedy gold. Had them laughing out loud. They took some convincing that you weren't just on a wind up though. The cancer stuff- not your best work. Hard to find humour in the subject so id stay away from it in future. But i thought you were back to your mentally disturbed best with the Adolf Hitler's gardening business in Barcelona stuff. Keep em coming loony tunes!!

Yep if you call direct foul and abuse language with children about and beer throwing good away support then that’s fine. The worst with Chelsea fans in my opinion. Just don’t understand why fans can’t concentrate on their own team and not have to hurl abuse at other sets of fans. Maybe I’m too sensitive in a sensitive world lol

Couple of things which I noticed; • mooy would pass then move next to the person he had passed to, cutting down their options and space. • mooy Would ignore Pritchard in space then carry the ball near to him (congesting the area) then play it to him. • Pritchards set pieces were ten times better than others we have had • Malone was running into the box at every opportunity leaving us vulnerable at the back• there seems to be a belief that we can only turn into an attack if we are camped on the edge of their area, rather than look to cut through them. Malone on the pitch leaves us vulnerable at the back unfortunately.

What's more surprising is that 2 others agree with you. Rational thinking seems beyond so many these days. By the way I have never said that Hitler had a gardening business. That word came out of what passes for your brain. Since you seem to enjoy most of my anecdotes, I think I may post a few more in Off Topic shortly. Stay tuned.

If a town player looses the ball ,surely he should do his best to track back to try and retrieve it
Watch what V L P does after he looses the ball just before for the third West Ham goal

Apologies if it’s been mentioned before, I haven’t had chance to read through the entire thread. But, on reflection, I’m not sure today’s defeat can be attributed to players having an off day. I think it’s something to do with out tactics. There’s no middle ground in our play. If we concede, more often than not, we go gung ho. Full backs in the penalty box, just the two centre backs guarding the halfway line. There’s no calm build up. Today at 2-1 we shouldn’t have panicked. We should have remained calm, been diligent at the back and probed at West Ham. The last 15 minutes is when we should have gone gung ho, ensuring we were still in the game up until that point. Just off the top of my head it reminds me of Bournemouth and Birmingham Away last season. We went far too gung ho and got picked off with devastating ease Our gung ho somehow ends up with us having no men in the opposition box and no defenders at the other end. I'm not actually sure where everyone goes, it's like they all just huddle together in the centre of the pitch and a single ball takes them all out of the game leaving it in the hands of Zanka and Schindler to sort it out (or not as often has been the case) Gareth Jones tweeted a picture which shows VLP could have put a cross into the box where we had 4 players waiting, but chose to take the man on and lost it just before their 4th.

The fact they were able to break and score with just 2 players is equally alarming as VLP having the decision making ability of a 3 year old

They broke by basically, hoofing it up field where it was 2 v 2. Something we never seen to do is look to put it beyond the back line to run on to.

Incidentally why was Moyes allowed to spend so much time out of his technical area almost standing on the pitch for some much for the game? 3 points on Saturday and WHU game will be a distant memory

Playing out from the back does not work especially now every manager in the premier league has got Wagner's forward play worked out
The lone striker system does not work mainly because as we do not have the quality up front to make that kind of system work
What town do need are better quality players who can compete with the half decent at this standard " especially in defence ".
It will be very interesting against Stoke to see what Wagner has learnt from the West Ham mauling ,and just as interesting to see if the new signings make a difference.
Every single town defender is vulnerable against every eds decent striker in this division , and that needs addressing

Based on the fact that they have taken us up over a division in just over two years and raked us in 150 million plus might you care to explain how David Wagner’s methods don’t work ?

And what is that Schindler and Zanka both dropping right on to the dead-ball line pretending to want the ball? They drag no-one out of position, they do it incredibly slowly and then if they have stretched the opposition 5% they then shrug and jog up-field whilst Lossl takes an age to kick it. If its time-wasting its useless, if its to stretch the oppos it does not work and the only thing that happens is WE end up out of position. Time-waste by all means...with 7 minutes left.

Every single town defender is vulnerable against every eds decent striker in this division , and that needs addressingThat is an interesting conclusion. I think most defenders in the division left in similar one on one situations with a quality attacker such as Anautovich and the result would be the same. You can see it week in week out. Firmino outstrengthed Stones in a one on one and scored a couple of days ago, Depoitre and others have done it to Harry McGuire. Of course there is some personal responsibility from the individual defenders, but these mismatches are system faults. The defenders shouldn't be left one on one in space with quality attackers. We gave Anautovich and Lanzini too much space as a team/system.

Its to retain possession not waste time. How else would you retain possession - lob it up to Depoitre- the old kick and rush? Worked well last season - not working quite so well this season against better players/teams. Obviously need to take less risk - Lossl being too brave - and mix it up a bit.

Cant be, Lossl never passes to them on the dead-ball line. Think you are misinterpreting it. They do that on an opportunity basis. If the opportunity isn't there they jog up the field and revert to the lob up the field. It's just that Lossl has created problems in being overly brave and taking it on when the lob up the field was the right option imho.
