Probably our best player today
But why does he feel the need to bollock every player who makes a mistake. Confidence is already low and the players know themselves when they've messed up so they dont need him ranting in their faces
There appeared to be a full on argument between him and Mbenza after the first goal and he even went mental at Puncheon after the third goal.
Someone needs to have a word with him and tell him to cut it out and start trying to get heads up around him rather than making them drop more than they already are

Smith is just as bad, which I find strange given he is the one frequently at fault for mistakes.

Because he cares, and he gets fired up.
If players play stupid balls that destroy all of the hard work you've put in I'd be pretty pissed as well.

Pretty typical English 'PASHUN' that often tends to get mistaken for being a good leader.
Not that I think Hogg is a bad leader, I just don't think that element is part of what makes him one. Bollock someone who's not making an effort by all means but it's not a great response to honest mistakes.

Covered every blade of grass got stuck in. Passed short and neat.

The most alarming fact is Hogg (400k), schindler (1.8m) kachunga (1.1m) and Smith (free) were the standout performances today. The other 60m looked like they couldn't give a toss.... "on the whole"

He was our best player today but you post something to criticise him?
Bizarre
He was very lenient with Puncheon for the third
Smith did ok for me, no more no less - I could fault for the second for losing Sane but he was offside

Vital we keep hold of him next year with Mooy and Billing almost certainly both going. Could see a Cardiff or Burnley signing him if they stay up though.

I think that's possible, but I'm hopeful him not quite having the quality in possession being to our advantage. Will be even more vital if we look to bring O'Brien and/or Bacuna through. Well, if he doesn't just yell at em 😂 Bacuna is a funny one. Looked promising against Newcastle; willing to turn and try a forward pass. Been a bit naff since and his ambling running/jogging style is not going to endear him to the average fan and in some respect understandably so.

Some of them deserved a bollocking to be fair. Noting wrong with that from senior leaders in the team. They need to grow up and be more accountable some of our players...this is a standard thing in football...nothing to see here

Smith is a decent championship level player. Didn't think he was bad today - actually thought he was quite good especially considering he's hardly played this season and the quality of opposition. As for Hogg & Smith dishing out bollockings - they are vice captain & captain so need to be vocal on the field

If you can't see an issue with the way he does it then fair enough. I think he goes about it the wrong way and carries it on for far longer than required but maybe it's just me
A proper leader doesn't do that to his team mates on the pitch. You do it behind closed doors. Do you really think Puncheon needed telling, he's far more experienced than Hogg and was already apologising before Hogg laid in to him

Fuck me Hoggs character has probably been one of the most influential of the lot over the last few years. You’re an utter joke, you simply look for the negative in every situation. completely ignore all the times hoggs attitude has benefitted us.
