Good luck to the guy. Maybe he’s got backers. Championship is such an expensive league to compete in.

Nice to see people are turning this into a negative already - after all Dean Hoyle (a fellow town fan) hasnt really done anything over the last 10 years has he !!!!!!! Cannot believe some people - give the guy until at least Tuesday to prove himself Whist i don't condone the negativity of some on here i can't help thinking hows he going to fill the hole in his pocket after buying DH out and pay for new players.

Maybe because we didn’t have the funds to financially compete with other clubs with Deano in charge and he’s just sold the club to a bloke who is significantly less wealthy. Who were you expecting to buy Huddersfield Town? Google or Amazon maybe? because there is nothing in between Hoyle and google. Stupid

Any idea where his money is coming from? A quick check on Companies house regarding Pure Legal brought up turnover in the low millions, losses and negative reserves.

Thank you Dean Hoyle for making the dream possible. Best chairman we could have ever hoped for and today is a sad day.
Good luck Phil, hope you can build on what Dean has built.

Well if people want to ask Dean they can at the special Q&A at 10:30 - 12 at the Canalside on Saturday. We all know he tends to be refreshingly frank at these things.

Having failed to get Southport to league two he’s taking on the far easier task of taking Town there instead 😂

😂😂😂 Come back when you find your first pube. right back at you been watching this lot over 30 years we had a massive opportunity and as per we messed up culminating in this mess So where were you when it became known that Dean wanted to sell? Considering that you’re such a smart arse, I’m surprised you didn’t pull together a consortium of millionaires, or even a billionaire, oh wise one.

Interesting video interview with Hoyle about him leaving. He mentions every town manager under his stewardship except Wagner!? And says we won’t be spending millions in the summer and Hodgkinson is going to be a “custodian” of the football club.

Dean will always be in our hearts, Thank you for taking us to the promised land, its something didn't think I'd see as a town supporter.
Phill has big shoes to fill and large sections of the supporters to impress/appease. I was never expecting the club to be sold, never mind someone with mega bucks coming to buy us, I'am willing to give Phill some time.

Thanks for everything Deano, good luck Phil. UTT Only One Relegation under Hoyle in 10 Years ! We Knew Nothing about him when he Bought the club ! He Might Change the Manager ( with a bit of luck ) But if he matches Hoye`s Or Equals What he has Done ! Starting By Buying a Goalkeeper & Keeping us in Championship ! Next Season ! That will do for Me !

Dean looks absolutely gutted in the video; don’t think it’s been an easy decision for him but totally accept his health and family come first. I’ll be there on Sunday listening to his final Q&A. Hope the new Chairman is as forthcoming with Q&A’s.
DW going, relegation and now DH going; it really has been a season to forget. Hopefully we can start with a clean slate in August and get some positivity back at the JSS.

Agreed personal abuse through any format it appalling especially when directed at someone who is doing an honest job to the best of their ability. It’s cowardly and repugnant in equal measure. I am not suggesting anything to the contrary, however Sean Jarvis it seemed wanted to be part of the party when things going well and seemed to go missing when things were going wrong. From memory a year ago he was on Look North , Radio Leeds , Calendar, Down at the Mac and I’m sure some others . When Dean was unable to comment due to illness in the tough Dec to Feb periods this year he was nowhere . I’m sure he’s a throughly decent guy and as I said in my original post I want to thank him personally for being part of the last 3 years as it’s been amazing. Its a pity he’s marred his tenure by his perceived absence in that period when its seems the supporters needed a familiar face to offer some / any reassurance. Short of giving us all a cuddle after every defeat I don’t really see what he could have done. With the state of the season we’ve had and the potential take over he probably couldn’t offer any assurances, there’s no point in getting your hands dirty putting a plaster on somebody that’s had their head blown off. Agreed and I like your metaphor made me chuckle and I’ll use that 😄

Whilst the clubs future is of most importance I want to see a commitment to competing. But let’s move on..... 🤣
