The last thing I'd be doing at the moment is loaning out anyone capable of scoring a goal

as Gerry says I hope he is moving for positive reasons like getting fit and ready for a 1st team recall on his return, as he brings extra to the team that we haven't got. If he's being signalled out after speaking out over the Stan sacking then its a disgrace!!! Lets hope Gerry's not playing his young stars who haven't progressed in the past 4/5 years at the expense of better players!!! If he is then it looks like Stan was right to want to overhaul the club (keep the academy though) as the youngsters coming through the club are not good enough to mount a serious challange to getting us out of this league!!!

Shock horror
Quite obvious some sort of fall out there
Think flynn was one of ST`s better signings and capable of a few goals

Jeeeez!!!
Got to say I'm disappointed with this news cos I dont think he's gone there to get match fit, although I maybe wrong as we do have plenty of C/midfielders.
The soap opera continues.

This is a disgrace, but not worse than us not going for a striker. Season finished today for us. We´re run by ignorant, incompetent fools.

Must be part of the master plan like someone has said, getting rid of a capable goalscorer!! It's a bit like bringing Worthy on for Craney when your one nil down and chasing a game.........absolute masterstroke!!!!!

Strange, Strange move, and not one I agree with at all. When hes played in the middle hes looked decent, and especially now we are playing 3 central he would fit in fine. Obviously nothing to do with getting match fit, hes only been 'injured' about 3 weeks!

If we´ve given up on this season and are saving money, I think they should tell us. This is absolute bullsh@t.

What an absolute farce that is, sending out best goalscoring midfielder out on loan, while we keep hold of Collins?!
That is a ridiculous decision, and if i'm honest, it makes me quite angry.

If we are serious about getting into the Championship this season (and not just writing it off) then we need to stop sending one of our players of the season to other clubs on loan, and get a damn manager in. Flynn was an early season contender for player of the season!! Now I've not met our new chairman-elect, nor have I ever heard him speak, but talk is cheap and its time for action -- find us our new manager, let every player have a clean slate (Parker, Flynn, young Clarke) and lets roar up this pish poor table!!! C'mon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Youve quickly forgotten about 3 in 3 games Collins then? Collins has scored only 2 less than Flynn in a lot less games, And Craney and Roberts have scored as many goals as him, so not sure the title 'best goalscoring midfielder' holds true. I thought hed be off soon from the snippets of info Ive heard about certain dressing room antics but even on the footballing side, hes well down the pecking order for those central midfield berths, and justifyably so IMO, so if it gives him the chance to get some games in until we might need him, then I don't see the problem myself.

We all know Collins is 3 in 3, but he along with Skarz have been the weakest players in all of those games. All credit to Collins for scoring obviously, but with Flynn's goals, they're ones he's made himself, basically because he can strike a ball, whereas Collins' goals have been provided on a plate by others. I think Flynn contributes a lot more during the game apart from his goals also, and is generally a better footballer.

Maybe were just loaning him out to get some match practice at a level that wont/shouldnt strain him too much Get him back to full fitness before putting him back into our team like. Playing up there will be better for him than playing the reserves. Seems a good idea to me.

I've said before I liked Collins, but don't be fooled by his recent goal burst. He's never scored more than 5 in a season, Craney and Flynn are much better goalscorers (that's not to say they are better players, although in my opinion Craney definitely is).
