Town win 3 nil and win the league. It was 1 nil at half time with Stead scoring a tap in , Bunn scoring from within the area and Mullin scoring the pick of the three with a 15 yard shot across gaol into the top corner. Team Allinson, Sinnott, Boyle, Tronstad, Crooks, Wright, Mullin, Robinson, Stead, Bunn, Lopez. Subs Ben Atkinson, Starkey, Carr ( all used) & Guthrie.
Allinson Best game for some time with some excellent saves.
Sinnott Steady game and did te simple things right.
Boyle. Steady performance with some good interceptions and rarely failed to complete passes.
Tronstad Once again some good tenacious midfield play. He offers something different to what we see in the first team regarding bite and doing the simple things well. Its still early days but looks promising.
Crooks A commanding display at centre half and won some great headers. He looks comfortable on the ball and is always on he look out for the forward ball.
Wright. Like others he had a reasonable game.
Mullin Not a great threat to Barnsleys defence however scored the pick of the goals.
Robinson Actually put in some good tackles and looked livelier than I have seen him fro some time. No doubt he is trying to impress the scouts that were present.
Stead. Missed a tap in within the first five minutes and other chances went begging. He scored one of the many chances he had with another simple tap in. In fairness he put himself about and even went on some good runs. Used his guile to ge around less experienced opposition. Subbed for either missing chances or will he figure at Charlton?
Bunn Deserved his goal as he puts himself about and goes in hard on those 50 50 challenges. He is not afraid to run at defences and is a handful
Lopez. Subbed as he missed some sitters with a one on one on the goal and he put that wide.
Subs who came on showed Carr to be the pick of the bunch as he looks lively and keen to impress.
Barnsley probably best player was Reubon Noble-Lazarus who did some tidy runs at our defence but to no avail.
All in all a good solid performance with grit determination and three goals which saw them win the league

Went to the Barnsley game and thought the lads were great, especially with so many out of position. Afterwards was talking to one of the Barnsley lads dads who said that Town have told Mullin he won't be offered a new contract in the summer. Bit surprised really if that's the case. Missed an early chance on Monday but the goal showed what quality he has and he's younger than Lopez, Carr, Bunn etc so thought he'd have half a chance with another year under his belt. Thought Robinson looked much better than when i'd seen him before and Boyle did well at left back considering he's looked an out and out centre half when i've seen him before.

Not surprised about Mullin as from watching him this year he will no be championship material. He is not in the same league as the likes of Lolley and other squad members. I wish him well however I suspect at best he will end up a few divisions below us that's if any clubs want to take up his contract. I agree his goal was good however his general standard of play has been bettered by many other squad members.

Where is your Apologies! Another 2 for Mr Bojangles. Gerrrrrrrrrrrrim in The end of the match soured due to some unsavoury scenes from Wednesday, resulting in their keeping shown a red for foul and abusive language.

It certainly was, the game swung when Jake was subbed off at 4.1 quickly taken goals led to 4.4 then the lads came back into it, dubious penalty for Bojaj to score though. That's now 18 goals for him and 17 for Jake.

Huddersfield Town ? #HTAFC v #BCFC (U18) To clarify - 3 points today, Town have won the league. 1 point probably enough due to their superior goal difference

Huddersfield Town ? 75: #HTAFC 1 - 0 #BCFC (U18) GOAL: Superb yer up from Pyke to Atkinson in the box, he shrugged off his marker and poked past the keeper
