Bad attitude, lazy and selfish. Good luck with him. Scored a fantastic goal the other night, hopefully the first of many in a town shirt!

Not sure whether this has been mentioned already (it is a long thread) but from what people have seen so far would you offer Miller a deal at the end of the season or bring back Grant Holt if fit and wanted to come. I would go for Miller. Both are big & fairly physical but I think Miller has that bit of pace as well.

Whether Town give him a contract in the summer will depend on what his attitude is too. The big negative from both the Forest camp and I believe at Yeovil too was that he had a poor attitude to training. I think that influenced both clubs whether they wanted to keep him around or not. If he's scoring a hatful of goals then sometimes clubs can work round a less than great work ethic but some coaches put more store in it than others.

Miller seems to have a hunger to earn himself a better contract, you could see what it meant to him to score - a few more appearances like that will do him no harm in securing a longer deal.

last game of his loan spell at Yeovil, Vaughan & Miller up front could work for us........Thoughts please I think Miller and Wells works too!

The question is. What is his weight?
Surely more than 13st 8lb shown on one site.

Hopefully he's matured now and realises he's got a big opportunity at Town

i don't think powell will settle for anything less than players putting in 100% in training seems that sort of manager. if he does carry on improving he's a good option and would certainly complement what we have. pluss i don't think he will be on a lot of coin either which is good for town in our efforts to create a good slim squad whilst trying to become as sustainable as possible. he needs to put roots down as he should be getting to the peak of his career he knows it town know it so lets see how it pans out.

Miller's a massive talent (and a good complement to Wells and Vaughan). Making the most of it is partly down to him, partly the club. CP will play his part; and so should we, the barmy army.

Like all Town fans, I hope the signing of Miller will be a success. All I can say is that two Blackpool supporters who I know well, called him a 'big, lazy lump'. Let's hope that their description proves to be wrong.

The talent is there without question....... It needs an amalgam of a willingness to show it on his part and good man management to bring it out on a consistent basis. We are due a signing that works like this - a cast off that nobody seems to want, but who is a good player that simply needs to find the right home. We've had too many gudjonsens, McDermotts, callaghans, hammill's - players with a rare talent at times....but so rare we hardly ever see it!

Couldn't believe that Nico, Ish's was a far better goal than a few of their selected best.

I haven't seen a sniff of him being a big lazy lump, time will tell, but if he is then he doesn't get a contract so I just dont see that happening at Town.

Ish is a wrecking ball, if you use him correctly he can give the team a completely new dynamic.. He can hold the ball up, use his pace to get in behind & bully CB's to the point they don't want to go near him.. He can potentially bring more to the team than Holt did in his time here.. Like Scannell, Powell could be the man to get the best out of him.. Lots of could's & would's but he's got off to a decent start & hope once he's fully up to speed he can push for a contract next season.

Both Powell and Lillis has the ability to motivate and get the best out of under performing players. Millers is certanly no Mo Farah , but his bulk and ball holding skills will add to both Wells and Vaughans getting more scoring chances. I feel sure that Miller was signed to play in the Holt role , and the club has the multi million pound training facilities in position to bring this player back to full fitness.

Blackpool fans pleased to see him go.....GOD WHAT ARE WE DOING??? Still disappointed we signed him? He's good is Ishmael and a different option but it's dissapointing he's missed the pre-season through injury. Hoping he gets some game time tomorrow and gets himself up to speed quickly. Would have liked to have used him for the Hull match but think it might come round too soon for him.
