It's up to him...half a season to re-establish himself as a Championship player...

Well done! Absolutely worthy of a thread on its own.
I 'll repeat what I posted earlier. I'm thinking this could be very positive and Powell could get the best out of him and get him fired up and wanting to perform to his best. Absolutely willing to support this and give him a chance to show what he's got

Lets keep this positive thread going - I like it. Perhaps he will read this and give me a signed shirt when we scores the winner at Millwall.

The key here being the length of the deal I'm sure everyone at Town wished we had been able to get Stead and Paterson on this sort of deal instead of the 2 year deals thaey both signed. They'd have been gone after the initial 6 months.
It's up to you Ishmael to earn your contract in the summer or we will look at the 100's of free agents that will be available then. I hope both for him and us, that his performances make it a no brainer to pick up the extra year option in June.

Hope it works out for us, not like it's a permanent deal yet. If he has the same impact as Holt did in his first few games (who was brought in to do a similar role)and more importantly can keep that standard up for the rest of the season we'll do alright.

I reckon that's a good signing and a clever bit of business to dangle the carrot of another year with the club.......,

And the winners against Wolves and Bournmouth as well. Just going on Paddy Power for the odds!

Think I'd have preferred Hanson to this guy, a striker who doesn't score, only at Town. Is there no better available than this guy? 'Only at Town'- give it a rest. Yeah let's think for a sec, on one hand a striker that has never played outside the top 2 divisions or one that has never played in the top two divisions. One can wonder why you get a negative reputation on here Art

People should remember he's the support striker to Wells and Vaughan backup not the main act, potentially a very good signing different style to what we have. Getting pissed off reading some of the stuff on here ,rubbish from knobheads. Good Luck Mr Miller look forward to watching you.

The problem with some of the other threads they are negative as well. If you have posted a positive comment somewhere else do it here as well. Lets get 100 positives before he plays.

Good signing for town. I wanted him to come before he went to Yeovil as he is a quality player who will score goals, hold up the ball, bring others into the game and in general enhance and complement our strike force.

If Powell can get his head right, he's a talented lad. Has pace and power, awkward to mark and a decent touch for a big lad. Always rated him, but it'll all depend on his attitude. If he gives it 100%, then he'll do well for us. Coaching staff know him well enough as well.

Hope this guy scores a hat trick on Saturday, Edgar only played 2 games and getting slated on here, it could only happen on DATM. First time Miller misses a chance he will get crucified, let's face it guys we can't compete with the big boys in this league,

I'm as positive as the next guy, but if we started positive only threads this place would be as insipid as anything. Surely there can be 2 differing points of view on every subject which encourages debates.
If this board turned into a 'Ra Ra everything is great at Town' board then i'd be one of the first to leave.

I heard more about this player than most on this site , as he played for Yeovil which is in my neck of the woods . Very good signing for town , plus most town fans are crying out for what could be a new hero.
