i actually liked the idea of Mr Bean coming in someone different had experience abroad knowledge of foreign markets. if its him from cov then deano has not really kept to what he said int radio interview. Mowbray when ever he speaks makes me wanna put some radio head on and take a sharp razor blade into the bathroom dull as dish water. Mcleish i think he could be what we need at this time and fits what deano said he was looking for. Coyle no thanks my bolton mate said he put the club back years and walks round like billy big balls. who ever it is i'l support them as i want town to be the best we can but i think we need a motivator and someone that does not take shit and lazyness we have plenty of coaches to do the other stuff

I'm posting twice in succession so I can cunningly delete one so I don't look stupid when the new gaffer is announced.

Could be a disaster....could be a magical whirlwind that sees PATRICK KLUIVERT become a huddersfield town legend Not saying he would be my first choice, but he'd come a lot higher than most names linked. Worst that could happen? We get relegated and we're back competing at the top of L1 with talented youngsters coming through the academy under the tutelage of someone who, experienced manager or not, probably has more football knowledge in his left nut than most managers in the football league. best that could happen? We play great attacking football, improve the academy setup and have a direct link to talented dutch kids, good loans, bigger crowds, more revenue, more chance of investment Coached at AZ, managed FC twente's youth team, worked under van gaal (one of the most universally rated coaches in the business, renowned for his forward thinking approach, great football and youth development) for the dutch national team. Dont get me wrong, a safe choice would be the sensible option, but in a years time when we're being served up boring football under a boring manager and the john smith's is like a morgue...but it will be alright because we're still in the championship? Football is all about excitement.. and it would certainly be exciting. Not saying i'd want us to go down, but i've found the chmpionship quite boring so far to be honest. Wouldnt mind a bit of risk if it sparked a bit of life into the club!! Think it would be very important to keep the backroom staff who know the championship though for the balance. edit: i should add, im very skeptical as to whether it will happen, mind. You've definitely convinced me Ritchie Should put an extra 2k on the gate for Charlton this weekend if he gets announced. Would be a mad, crazy signing and generate a real buzz around the place. Patrick Kluivert's Barmy Army has a nice flow to it

We'd have to shut the NSL gates to prevent overcrowding.

If it comes down to Kluivert or Pressley it has to be Kluivert, neither have championship experience so what would Pressley have over Kluivert

His input might have just been setting up a few sprinting exercises to get the warmed up and being there to talk to players in a 'been there- worn the t-shirt' way that van gall can't, having never been a top player. You're having a shocker here Slapps. Michael Owen Kluivert was number 2 for the team that just finished 3rd in the world. Would you be as disingenuous towards Gary Neville, for example? Not denying there would be an element of gamble to the appointment but that goes for whoever gets the job. I only use michael owen because hes a big name ex player and he has zero managerial experience- much like Kluivert ( but owens a bigger name which seems to be the important criteria here) Were you in the Holland camp at the world cup? What kind of role did he have and how much input did he have in any decisions? What relevance did his input on that dutch squad have on managing a championship club? And no I wouldn't be 'as' worried about Neville. Ive heard him talking a lot on TV about tactics etc and he clearly understands the game well. And although hes not played in it, being in the english game for 20 years- he'll at least know the champ[ionship and the clubs and players in it. Anyway, apparently Kluiverts not interested despite his agent saying different. What that probably means is HTFC aren't interested in HIM, and he doesn't want the footballing world to know it.

Talkshite know nothing. Surprised folk haven't put 2 and 2 together with what jimmythebulldog has said... Jimmy's in USA. Kluivert's flown in from USA. It's on like Donkey Kong. Not disagreeing with what you say 3Pipe, but why would Jimmy being in the USA make him ITK about Kluivert having an interview at Town? Jimmy is currently in the UK - FACT
