Have people ever thought it isn't the managers but the owner? Hoyle talks a good game about not wanting us to go bust and complying with FFP, but while following these factors we are not progressing in the championship. It is often said that businesses need to take risks and don't believe that we have took many. At the end of last season he tried to take credit away from Bournemouth by saying that they lost about 12 million, but look where they are now. Mabey we need to spend more money on several players and not just one i.e Wells to really see progression. Opinions? What will happen to Bournemouth if the above gamble does pay off , especially as they have broken the fair play rules .There are clubs in the play off places that have abided by the rules, and not broken the bank in getting there. Just remember what happened to town when Ruberrys took a similar gamble and failed. Have they broken the rules though? The only clubs that I have read about are Leeds, Blackburn and forest!

To the end of July 2013, Bournemouth made losses of more than £ 15 million . Google --- Bournemouth fair play rules as makes a very interesting read .

Could you just clarify who "we" is? I think irishterrier is anticipating a massive windfall for his Xmas pressie

You can all say what you want but if Town lose their next 3 games Powell must walk. Will he claim racism ?

Dean Hoyle I know you don't want to be seen as a sacking chairman, but Christ almighty you are as shit at picking a manager as Powell is a team. Don't let this knobhead be in charge for one more game. He doesn't give a shit about town, all he is bothered about is being in the media spotlight and spouting off about being a black manager,so please tell him Alex Dyer to take their soapboxes and fuck off back to London. ONE BILLY DAVIES THERE'S ONLY ONE BILLY DAVIES............................. This has got to be a joke, right?

Clearly a wind up and no fans are calling for Powell's head However he - like his team - were poor today. Wrong formation, started with flat tempo, came out second half even flatter and his subs were too late. Managers score today 2 out of 10 The last time we played well at home we started 442. Yet Powell keeps picking this failing 451 with Holt (who was pathetic today) the only striker. Over to Powell for answers in the next game no it's not a wind up, and if you think that no fans are calling for Powell's head take a look on Facebook/Twitter.He play's 4 - 5 - 1 at home and 4 - 4 - 2 away, what a joke he his Thrapgood if you want managers sacking twice a year or more get yourself down the road to Bellend Road, you would probably like it there.

So back to the original point Thrapgood, if you want Powell out who do you want in ? Then when the next manager has a crap spell who do you want in. Let him get the players in he wants come January . We dont want to become a joke club like those down the road. With regards to your last post, I believe you offered more than a verbal discussion but will let it go as A/ Its an internet forum and nothing more. B/ you're probably a young lad and you're already feeling embarassed about what you said

you get that happening from time to time on here pat Have to say it had all the hallmarks of a Hilly return, toys out of pram followed by offering them out for a fight, I mean 'talk'. Exactly Hilly's modus operandi that.

What sort of short sighted fool calls for the manager to be sacked at this stage. We've had a few questionable performances, that's is all. The bloke hasn't had a chance to make any alterations in the transfer window yet. Are some of our fans descendants of the Cellino family?

I have a funny feeling that given time Powell will come good. We all say things after a bad result myself included, we need a period of stability. Lets see who leaves, who joins in January. One things for certain , we dont want to go back to the dark days of nearly not even having a club to debate about.

I missed the game Saturday so only had the result and DATM to go on but when I watched the highlights I thought we were unlucky not to come out of the game with at least a point.

Were the highlights about 15 seconds long? Though as dull a game as that certainly didn't deserve a goal so I guess your conclusion was right.

What sort of short sighted fool thinks the NSL will ever have 1500 fans in it. Have I ever said that, I'm not sure if I have? I will have said if we want to push the club into considering the South Stand as a viable home end, then we need to fill the FM lower though. But don't let your shouty attention seeking nature get in the way of the truth Gaybrush

From my first post, ONE BILLY DAVIES THERE'S ONLY ONE BILLY DAVIES As others have said, you're clearly either on a wind up looking for attention, or a fool - most likely both. Anyone with any knowledge of Billy Davies would not be calling for him to manage the club they support. www.wsc.co.uk/wsc-daily/1175-march-2014/11349-billy-davies-pays-price-for-his-forest-vendetta

That's what gets overlooked with all the shit that gets directed at Powell. All some people can do is rip into every single manager we have, whilst portraying themselves are tactical experts. Yes, the game on Saturday was dreadfully dull & maybe CP got the tactics wrong, but Town had all the half chances & one very good one (resulting in a good save, but owing as much to luck as judgement), whilst Birmingham offered nothing & scored from a deflected set piece, following a series of mistakes made by Town & a free kick that never was. There's no way on earth that Birmingham deserved to win on Saturday.
