As he was rarely in huddersfield over the past few months he could have been interviewed before..possibly during one of our 'extended' training sessions, the one where the players were sent home early to 'rest'..?

Good luck to him if he gets the job. It won't last like but it'll be another pay day, and he'll be nearer home.

has Oscar gone back there from his loan at Donny? Powell might get his way and have Oscar in his squad at QPR - maybe it was his master plan!!!

Think he would do well wherever he goes.
Think he will do very well with lots of cash... And I mean more than we would be prepared to give him

He'd probably do OK for them, certainly a better bet than Ramsay. With that budget I'd say an average manager could get them promoted quite easily.

A London club was always the most likely for him, so after QPR he still has quite a few left to go through!!!

How can he possibly do well ? How did he get Charlton up with 100 points ? How did he get town into their best position since the year 2000 ? He's the guy who let's his team get unfit remember ?

He could actually play attacking football there as he would have the players at his disposal to play that way, something which he complained that he didn't have here.

Also the guy who completely lost his way of late - as he did at Charlton funnily enough. Failed to utilise the young talent at his disposal. If I could spot Dempsey is a player and he couldn't, he needs a new career path IMO. So fkn obvious. Failed to utilise substitutes to his advantage. His non-use of subs was amateur at best, approaching laughable, frustrating. Shite football. Driven many fans away from the club. Failed to turn up to work on time, failed to integrate himself at the club by refusing to move anywhere remotely close to his place of work. Failed to beat numerous lower league sides both in pre-season and in cup competiton. Was dragging us ever closer to a relegation spot when DH pulled the trigger. Failed to sort out LB position despite being 'an ex-England FB'. Signed Davidson.. says it all really. Nice bloke Ted, granted. Shook your hand, granted. But it counts for little, Leon Brittain once shook my Dad's hand at Lodges supermarket in Holmfirth.

But it counts for little, Leon Brittain once shook my Dad's hand at Lodges supermarket in Holmfirth. F**k me youre patronising. You think id "support" (which I don't actually think I am) a guy cos ive shook their hand? FFS im not 14. Signed Davidson? Really? Powell had control over player signings yeah? Nothing to do with Ross Wilson or the new guy? COMMEEE ONNNNN LB position ... See above.. Was dragging us,,,,, yadda yadda etc etc... Well we had lost 2 in 3 (or was it 3 in 4) . One of them defeats was comprehensive and poor. (Wolves) Up to then we had been competing and some scribes on here counted us a bit unlucky not to be higher in the league. But yes I grant you relegation was (and still very much is) a realistic proposition. It's about players you see Mr 3 pipe. And we aint got good players. Failed to beat lower league... etc... So youd say losing friendlies at a time when he was losing best players negates finishing as high as for 15 years? ok if you think that that's your prerogative I disagree Failed to turn up for work in time .. You were here? clocking him in and clocking him out? you are aware of the arrangements agreed at the commencement of his contract? Driven many fans away from the club.. That's him,, singlehanded yeah? Nothing to do with the fact some folk would prefer to be winning in the isthmian league as opposed to being competitive (though granted a bit dull) against far higher budgeted teams.. And the fact we aint winning is nothing to do with budgets and losing best players and turning up on day one of the season woefully undercooked in the goalscoring dept? Shite football.. I tell you what was shite.... shite was me leaving after about 70 minutes thoroughly fucked off that we had let leeds do a number on us... LEEDS... a bottom three outfit... You remember the game? its the one where we were the better team but didn't win because the ref didn't play ball .. Diddums. Failed to utilise subs... let me get this straight,, im not powell lover,, he drove me nuts at times,,,, but lets not forget the most conservative "subsmith" in the history of HTFC was Mick Buxton AKA GOD.. Failed to utilise young players... I agree with dean he should have blooded them last season when we were safe. BUT I agree with powell that they have to be ready and they have to be good enough... and lets not forget wagner dropped lolley didn't play holmes or any of the kids (bar Dempsey) and brought murray Wallace on up front ahead of bojaj... I think from listening to mr wagner that he "gets it" that the players HAVE TO BE GOOD ENOUGH... Moving onto Dempsey "I could spot Dempsey is a player and he couldn't" ... Really? from what ? a couple of youtube clips? You "blame" powell for signing Davidson, so are you going to credit him for Dempsey? Your selectivity doesn't help your argument does it? .. I held fire on Dempsey till I saw him play. My verdict was I think we have a little nugget on our hands. If powell had stayed and Dempsey continued to be in the stiffs id have thought he was a chump for taking that line.. But do you know what .. name me a manager who has never made a mistake? Now i'm feeling in a bit of an invidious position here. Because as I state time and time over I didn't want Powell and was no great fan of his. But id like to think im a fair man. And you and many others are not being fair

I remember after the first game at hull, seeing him and Scanz get straight on the London train, thinking it odd. It now comes out how he was hardly here and the shite level of training. Thank god he's gone tbh. Not good enough or dedicated by sounds.
