Not going to make it to the Canal house now guys, sorry. Bought a ticket in advance on Monday over the phone (thus incurring £1:50 charge plus 50p postage) and it still hasn't turned up so now they will cancel it and issue another which I have to pick up from Forest ticket office tomorrow, might as well have just paid on the day. As I was already pushed for time to make it for a beer in advance I'll now have to go straight to the ground. Have a good time those who make it, Canalhouse is a regular on my 'south side of the city' real ale route when I'm out with mates. Plenty of others around there too but they will be taken over as 'home supporters only' I'm afraid.

What about Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem? Worth a visit? Do they get footy fans in? How long a walk from Notts County ground?

What about Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem? Worth a visit? Do they get footy fans in? How long a walk from Notts County ground? Not very good last time I was in there last summer. Wasn't busy but the service at the bar was abysmal. Theres a pub called The Bell in the centre which is very good, so Ill be giving that a go. Jerusalem pub probably about a 10-15 minute walk to Notts county ground.

The Notts County sports bar is very good and 10-15 mins walk from the ground. Cheap parking also.

And your amazing factoids for this match - courtesy of the BBC website - are as follows ... MATCH FACTS- Forest have won five of their last six home league clashes with the Terriers, although did lose the most recent game last April. - Huddersfield have scored more than once in just one of their last 11 league matches against Forest (3-0 in November 2014). - Forest have gone 13 games unbeaten in the Championship (W6 D7), the current longest run in the division. - Huddersfield have scored in each of their last 12 games, the current longest run in the league.- Nahki Wells has scored seven goals in his last 10 games (all competitions) for Huddersfield. - Nelson Oliveira has scored six league goals in his last 10 starts for the Tricky Trees. That fourth one will surprise a few.

Ye Olde trip is ok beer wise but fantastic character. Castle Rock and Notts Brewery and Magpie are the main local beers but a few new breweries and a new pub opened in centre brewpub hole in the wall and The Embankment on way to ground before crossing over The Trent, is 3 floors of recently refurbished nostalgia since our last visit and up to 12 hand pulled beers. The Canalside on way to Jerusalem is as always very interesting, but don't barge in!! Pubs in old lace market are also good for ale fans. Enjoy.....

That fourth one will surprise a few. The fifth may surprise more. The way some people talk about him, you'd think Nakhi played in wellington boots! He looks much sharper under Wagner, me thinks, and he is improving all the time.

Another pub in centre-ish that has plenty of real ales is the Salutation Inn, it's been run as a pub for longer continuously than Ye Olde Trip. The Trip is always a bit touristy and as Slaps says the service is very very slow so I'd avoid it if busy and you are pushed for time. Salutation is the Tudor style building about halfway down Maid Marion Way. A new contender in last few years is the Crafty Crow (run by magpie brewery but lots of guest ales as well). This is just over the road from the entrance to Nottingham castle, about 5 min walk away from The Salutation in fact.

Are Paterson, Huws, Scannell, Matmour and Manu all definitely out tomorrow then? It's going to be a big ask, if they are.

I knew Paterson was out today... and we will miss him enormously. I truly think he has become our biggest player. Invariably, when he plays well, we play well. If we don't manage to tie him down this summer then we are going to need quite a signing to replace him.

seem to be without a few attacking midfielders today. Elvis, Scannel, Matmour and Paterson all out. Any chance of Duane Holmes, Jordy Hiwula or another academy lad starting in one these roles?

I'd be tempted to stick Dempsey in between Lolley and Bunn. He likes to get forward but also strengthens the midfield. With Whitehead and Billing in around him, we'd look solid enough. Duane to replace him as and when?

forgot about Dempsey, will be interesting today to see if Wagner now thinks of him as right back/defensive player or still as an attacking midfielder.

Yep, apparently £2 more on the gate. £29 on the gate. Robbing buggers - I think we only charged them £15 at our ground. I'll be there.

I Doubt he will be here next season what ever division we are in.Today like all games will be tough and despite the good football we play i cant see us getting anything from the game. we havnt enough quality in the last third of the field and we struggle to keep a clean sheet. We are in a dog fight alongside 8 more clubs and we will see where we are at the end of this month.I have the most respect for David Wagner and have said before whatever happens we have to keep him.He is 00 percent correct to stick to his principles unfortunatly we lack the overall quality to get the reward is style deserves.

Duane to replace him as and when? I'd like that too but DW has said several times the he is not ready for that central role for a couple of years.
