Where's that buzz/Sheffield Wednesday fan gone? Probably got lost up his own arse. Hudson and lynch targeted Forestieri all match. Wednesday got the win they deserved comfortably in the end, it was not a penalty as it hit him on the chest and ff has not dived once while in a Wednesday shirt! He might go down easy when donkeys like Hudson try to put him in row z but who can blame him! He was the most skillfull and hardest working player on the pitch and got his just reward! Owt else you West Yorkshire inbreds need to know? |

When you look at the penalty pic and the lad that needed 3 yellows to get dismissed, you sometimes have to think that the luck ain't with us against some teams.
Our luck will turn at some point, we've had our share over the yrs, just a few decisions recently that seem to have been quite cast-iron and nowt given...

I was crediting him for a decent performance generally and for the great ball winning tackles he made, particularly in the first half. I'm not saying his performance was perfect, but he did alot of good things. I'm prepared to see the good as well as the bad. You seem to discount the good things he did and just focus on the poorer aspects of his performance. A bit more balance needed perhaps? sorry, he is another clarke.. clarkey did fool more people than hudson but they both defend where they feel comfortable and they both catch us out more than the opposition do... no place for deep defenders who want the big centre forward to mark them.. sorry.. the poorer aspects of his performance are part of the 'fine lines' between 1 point and no points in this division.. If we are spending a good chunk of the budget here we are wasting it.. Again, its nothing personal, he could always pay to watch me run my business and make critique if he believed he could find fault.. They play football for my club, they are not my mates.. Doesn't mean you can't acknowledge the better aspects of a player's performance. As I said, I'm not a big fan of Hudson - he has too many weaknesses - but I can give him praise when certain parts of his performance are good. And on Sat there were good aspects of his play whether you acknowledge them or not. A club like ours should be ambitious, but we have to accept the players we sign will not be perfect. If they were they wouldn't be playing for us. We should look to improve wherever we can, but I don't think it's unreasonable to credit a player - even one generally acknowledged as not good enough for us if we want to improve - when they play well. You are right - they are players, not our friends - but that doesn't legitimise constant criticism with little or no balance. Many are quick to criticise - shame they are so slow to praise. |

I've seen him play all but 5 games this season and he doesn't dive, but he does get kicked up and down throughout the game, most of the time gets up and on with it too! Top top player!

Lee was a diver and at times a thug. Got away with assaulting the keeper into the back of the net. Looked for and elbowed a few defenders. Chucked himself on the floor with very little contact. There you go, that's honest and so is this, FF is a very talented footballer, best player on the pitch for Wednesday on Saturday. Doesn't stop him being a diving, cheating twat though does it. Say it again, if he wasn't a theatrical whining diving moaning cock he would be playing for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

He therefore gave the ref the chance to make a decision. We then had to sub him, Forestieris job was done for him.. stupid is as stupid does.... no suprises from their player and ours just falls for it.. experience is only useful if you actually use it to your benefit, on saturday experience just meant much slower legs.. |

I was talking to some of the massive in almondbury before the game and they targeted whitehead as a dirty cheating bastard and said that's why we were forced to sub him at hilsborough. Deluded is not the word every challenge he put in that showed slight contact the ref looked for his card and blew his whistle as they were quick to go to ground the same with lynch and Hudson. The second one he got the ball, good old fashioned tackle I was very close to the second one, Im a Town fan and in real time it looked incredibly risky as well as being unneccessary.. their lad did nothing that wasnt expected and extremely well publicised on here for some days before.. defending is about being smart sometimes and the 'good old fashioned tackle' is unfortunately, quite a lot of the time, a thing of the past.. |
