All I will say is that OP had heard the number was around 14k at the start of this thread in April. If we haven't past 15k in the 4 months since I'd be fairly disappointed! But either way I've got mine! UTT!

Tea time is a bit optimistic. I bet some will be moaning at 2pm on Saturday when we find out who Wagner has picked for the match.

Gotta be honest, pretty crap imo.
Could feel it from a mile off too. Strategy was so bizarre in the end.

Why is it people see the need to read a thread titled "Season Ticket Sales", then tell us how they're not bothered how many we've sold. If they want to go into a thread about a subject they're not bothered about, thats up to them, but I have to read their post telling us they're not bothered.

Before anyone starts we've sold double what we did last year, yes the take up was great at the start and people expected more but there's only a certain amount of town fans in the world to buy tickets

Wow, you really knew Epsom, impressed! Utt. Not really. Just happened to go on the official website for the first time today and there it was! Staggered I was first to post it on here. Not that it means anything. All things considered I think it's a bit of an anticlimax.

Assuming that figure wont include hospitality including the White Rose club & executive boxes etc.

Agree, thought it would of been 17 k at least I was joking .. it is what it is .. 10K was the original target and we beat it by 50%. So I think we can be pretty pleased really... people miffed cos we sold so many at the beginning and we haven't sold lots towards the end .. but that's going to happen cos people bought em early thinking the price would go up .. 15K is far better than we've achieved in just about every season in my lifetime ... against the backdrop of economic austerity and a team that has finished on the bottom third three seasons running

I think a figure of over 15000 is an excellent achievement given that not only were season tickets declining but actual people turning up was going down quickly as well - but I agree with a previous poster that given the size of Huddersfield and historic attendances there is a glass ceiling as to how many people will actually support town on a regular basis

Got to say i am a bit dissapointed with that. A fair few will be on holiday still come sat, so back down to 13.5k for brentford then ?

This is a club that wanted to give up half the home end to away fans 12 months ago to drive additional revenue! That tells you what an achievement 15,000 season ticket holders is.

Not great, but like Dean said, we didn't give away freebies to boost the total or include anything other than season tickets, so we sold more than Sadford. Just a big mythed how we sold 1500 less than 2008.

All things considered I think it's a bit of an anticlimax. But what were you expecting Epsom ? No idea, Ted! I can't gauge the mood in and around Huddersfield. Given that 10k were reputedly sold within days of the £179 announcement and the lack of seats supposedly still available on the official website (I haven't checked personally), to creep over the 15k limits seems a tad disappointing to me.

I said earlier that around 13500 in the stands at the side and around 1500 in FM upper. Why people thought it would be higher I don't know. Great effort to have the equivalent of over 10% of the town's population buying season tickets without having other gimmicks to add to that. If other clubs had the equivalent %age then they would be gobsmacked. Leeds currently struggling to reach 2% of the population of the city despite the money back offer.
