Wonder what the attendance ratio will be like. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see attendances increase by only 1500 or so on average. When a game is costing under £8 it will be very easy to "give it a miss" yeah but you'll never know. Clubs only ever announced 'gate' figures...you might be able to squeeze actual attendance out of Town if they feel in the mood..but don't hold your breath because getting away fans stats is hard enough..

Published attendance figures will reflect tickets sold so will llkely be in excess of 15000 every week. Will be slightly embarrassing if actual gate (eg Reading a few weeks back) is only 7000

When a game is costing under £8 it will be very easy to "give it a miss" I think it will change dramatically depending on the opposition. Most will want to see the Villa's, the Newcastle's and the Sunderland's, who will themselves bring big followings. The Burton game might not be as busy.

But hopefully then Wagner will build a Town team all Town fans will want to see more than picking the games based on the opposition.

I agree there will be a few lower level games against smaller clubs and that might be when people stay at home, for example Bradford - it's just not a big draw game. 'Bradford City, who are they they' for those who remember the advert in the 80's :-)

It's not just the price though; Wagner's tactics in comparison to Powell's is a good reason to attend.

I'm sure I wont be alone. Today around 20% of season ticket holders are not at any one game....I suspect that figure could rise a few %, especially driven by the 6000 or so 'new' season ticket holders.

No, but tickets for the away game at Burton will be sought after.

I agree with this.....it's not just the result either, if fans see passion, commitment and the kind of football being served up by Wager it's still an enjoyable 90 mins (interspersed with some usual heartache) and worth watching. At least we should see several published 'gates' at over 20,000 for our home games next season..with the away end full for several games and at least 1,000 paying on the gate...how many actually attend is another matter, but for the stats it will look a lot better than the 12.600 we are averaging this season

Unless it's the last game of the season , and we need just one point to be crowned champions.. Or even one point to avoid relegation..

Main stand upper tier now completely sold out. It'd look better on TV if the riverside lower was completely sold out aswell.

(Probably have to take a few off for the end sections) Around 8000 I think. As you say, take off the last two far segments of the lower the further north of the upper tier section and I think the second to last section in the lower has some unavailable too for the half time 'acts' and friends/family of.

I have a programme dated 26th December 1992 when Accrington Stanley played Emley. A feature inside include pictures of the milk advert kid Carl Rice with the players. Bad day as i recall for Emley as they lost 6-1.

Just under 8300, so your 8k will be close without the end bits. I guess there will be around 7500 season tickets in there come August plus 24 boxes with at least 10 per box.

A lovely pair of seats for the more discerning customers.
