It's not just the price though; Wagner's tactics in comparison to Powell's is a good reason to attend. Yeah, but the problem is some moaning gits will do nothing but moan if we regularly play well but lose.

You don't have to have the ball for 60% of the game, and complete a load of passes to play well.

depends what you want - attractive football or success...or both ? if it's attractive but we can't win...then we've a problem and questions must be asked I'd have thought. If you think that's moaning, then fair enough.. It's no good being attractive to watch all the way down to league 2 is it... The reality is a balance between good football and success, which I guess is what most Town fans want. We certainly don't want to go back to the dour boring stuff of late Clark or CP,nor the possession stuff of Robins...Wagner offers a real workmanlike performance but we're still not actually any better in terms of points and league position...are we. The one thing that has blighted all Deans' managers is lack of investment, so hopefully Wagner is seen as trustworthy and Dean will splash some cash,as he has said he will. Let's hope it all works out eh ..

I want to watch entertaining football, I don't really care who against tbh.

Most fans claim they want attractive football but actually most fans want winning football at almost any cost. I remember 94/95 under Warnock. We 'played' some awful football for most of the second half of that season with fans (and players at times) not very happy but we won promotion and now everyone remembers it as one of the greatest seasons in the history of the club. Ditto 2011-12

Are these season tickets still for sale?
We sold 10,000 in 47 mins - the next 5,000 is taking as long as Otium to make a point.

There's more of this stuff than actual moaners nowadays - think it's past it's sell by date tbh. ps this is an observation, not a moan

Yeah, but the problem is some moaning gits will do nothing but moan if we regularly play well but lose. And rightly so, you shouldn't be continually playing well and not get results. ...unless the other team has better players, which most of them currently do based purely on "£££=better". I think as long as we're getting better results than our spend indicates our relative quality is, then there's very little to complain about. I'd be surprised if there's more than 4 teams with a lower wage bill than is...so our likely finishing position of somewhere between 20th and and 16th is probably an indication that we've been getting more out of this group than might be expected. The sounds are that the club player spend will become more refined/effective this summer...German players will be cheap especially from outside top flight, and comparable to English players currently of higher cost. If some of them turn out "better", then whilst our expectation may rise slightly on a financial judgement (I guess our spend will be higher than any of the current League 1 top 6), the there's a very real chance that our quality spread puts us somewhere between 11th and 18th...which would be an outturn that REALLY creates a stable platform to improve and develop from...especially with a reduced reliance on short ter loans, should make going into 2017/18 ALL about improving whereas this summer we still need to build an actual match day team to set our baseline).

You don't have to have the ball for 60% of the game, and complete a load of passes to play well. No, but you need the quality of the Leicester City squad to play otherwise successfully. Personally, I enjoy keeping the ball. Beats chasing shadows all game.

I was just saying this today - piss poor we can't sell 15000 season tickets at £179, what is actually stopping people buying them?

Ditto 2011-12 Some people want what they don't have and when they get that they want something else, i.e. there's definitely been some backtracking by some of those that said they just wanted to be entertained and see decent effort.

Its A small Town, even at this amazing price, 15 k is the absolute max wed sell imo. The crowd was only 12 k last saturday, Hull had 2 k. Its real life. We dont have big support.

I thought Huddersfield was the biggest town in England..... Or did I dream that? It doesn't help when the Champions of Europe are 15 miles down the road, not to mention the chickens not being too far away & Halifax will attract a few to their games. Was really surprised to see how few fans hull brought last week, thought they would have sold out considering their league position. Utt.

Swindon, Reading and even Northampton have bigger populations.

How many times has it been said on here that Huddersfield is far from a small town. Brighouse is a small town, Batley is a small town, but the problem with Huddersfieldis loads of people watch other clubs like Manure, Liverpool, leeds. Just for the record!! HUDDERSFIELD is a big town, so if we haven't sold 15k, yes it is very poor and you cant use the !we are a small town" because that is nonsence.

Where did this thing about Huddersfield being the biggest town in England come from anyway? Has it ever been the biggest?

It hasn't taken long for the doom merchants to try and distinguish the feel good factor that's in and around the club at the moment! Have I missed the announcement that we haven't sold 15k yet?
