Added on to the cost of a season card it's still only £199, seems fair enough to me.

The question is do you hold off and hope that not many people take up the Terrier on tour option in which case if you are a ST and B&W or patron as well you stand a good chance of a ticket or do you take the plunge and sign up? £20 ain't too bad considering you can get a fiver off an away shirt and if you travel on the coaches you save a £1 a trip so it almost pays for itself, its £50 to join the patrons.

Fair enough. Not that bothered about going to the Newcastle game, doubt any of the others including this will be sold out before season ticket sale anyway.

There'll always be those who complain that it's costing you £20 before you can start to buy away tickets but I reckon it's a good idea and worth it to scramble ahead of people like me(!) who are Patrons and B&W Foundation. There are many fans who support away and aren't in those categories, so I think it's good.

I literally think they've done this just because of the newcastle interest they keep getting for tickets on twitter ha

I guess it's another way of giving priority to those who go away regularly but can't necessarily afford the cost of a year long BWF membership or Patrons membership. Not the worst idea in the world.

No, it gives priority to those who DONT necessarily go to more away games. A season ticket holder could spend his £20 on this, and ONLY go to Newcastle, Villa and Leeds away games all season, which he'd be in the queue for AHEAD of a B&W or Patron, and ahead of a regular season ticket holder who has gone to 20 other away games all season. It's naughty. I also suspect it's pretty pointless, and no away trip will sell out before hitting general sale all season long. Newcastle or Villa MIGHT have done, if they were after the holiday season.

Well, they can bask in the glory that they are supporting the Academy, which is in dire need of some kind of support!

Well, they can bask in the glory that they are supporting the Academy, which is in dire need of some kind of support! What could happen now is the Academy suffers as a result of existing members not renewing their subscriptions as of now though. This money making brainwave could well backfire because of the number that only subscribe for the promise of priority away tickets.

Still think Sunflowers fan points system should have been in place by now. Cut all this nonsense out.

Might as well cancel my b&w too & purchase this....thus saving approx £100 in the process....sometimes wonder if the club really think things thru properly when it comes to stuff like this! I've been in the b&w since its inception too!

That's a good point, a load of people will cancel other things and just pay the £20 because it's cheaper and they'll get higher priority than those who fork out say £150 a year on the other schemes like BWF.

I've been in the b&w since its inception too! Absolutely spot on, I've just signed my lad to b&w foundation last week as he's just gone 16 and I've been in since it started. Might as well cancel both and save quite a bit really.

Can you only buy one ticket at a time? So if I'm a 'Terriers on Tour' member and want to buy 8 tickets I presume all 8 people will need to be members too?

I await "Jarv's" self congratulatory posts on Facebook about this little promotion and see what sort of flak comes his way

Another poorly thought out idea by the club, just when you think they are getting somewhere.

There are other benefits of being in the B&W though like lottery/mascot/canalside.....so imo this is a cheaper alternative for those fans just wanting priority for away tickets...!
Where they have got it wrong is in the timing as this should have been announced with season tickets to prevent people signing up to B&W just for priority tickets for the big away games leading to them feeling ripped off...!
