and I gave him my dewalt sun glasses, He could have paid next year's too...but as you're a B&W member you don't need to now so you could just have £40 in cash instead All is well again, the club are doing a great job,,,but they must be careful not to let Mr Winter escape from his straight jacket again

...but less people at second priority, which was the point. Really? I thought they said this £20 super queue jump thing was because they were worried about the stampede for tickets with so many season ticket holders. Before it was a sc + b&w/patrons rush, now it's a sc + b&w/patrons rush + £20 super queue jumpers. A solution to a problem that didn't exist and they've even managed to fuck that up. The rush is always when tickets go on sale to season ticket holders. By removing more people from this rush, it makes the system more manageable, no? There still isn't likely to be a mad rush when tickets go on sale to BWF, TOT and patrons as people know they've got their tickets in the bag.

There still isn't likely to be a mad rush when tickets go on sale to BWF, TOT and patrons as people know they've got their tickets in the bag. The problem they identified is a massive rush for tickets with so many sc holders. Before this idea say 3,000 Newcastle tickets would have been up for grabs first to sc holders with b&w or patrons and would maybe have sold out in the scramble. Now in their wisdom the scramble is even bigger because they've introduced sc holders plus twenty quid into it, so the 3,000 are bound to sell out. In my opinion they were worried about the initial rush and they've made it bloody worse.

As a tight Yorkshire Bastard it still makes sense to cancel my B/W membership and just buy a queue jumping TOT

In my opinion they were worried about the initial rush and they've made it bloody worse. It splits the rush up a bit. Before you have a few hundred snapping up the tickets then 14000 going for the remaining 2500 or whatever it would be. Now you have more of an initial rush and less of a secondary one. It may be split 1500 each way which will help the ticket office. It also encourages people to take up the membership to earn the club a bit of money back on the STs. Given the furore last year over regular away travellers not getting tickets for the more popular away games I think this is a good step.

As a tight Yorkshire Bastard it still makes sense to cancel my B/W membership and just buy a queue jumping TOT Well why pay £8.68 a month when you can pay £20 for same thing no brainer to me we now have less chance of obtaining a ticket guess that's why I can't get hold of blue and white to cancel paid for 8 years

My Wednesday supporting business partner just advised me that it's £455 for a ST in the Kop, £50 per season for a priority HOME ticket membership and £42 admission to their 1st home game against Villa!
It goes without saying that he laughed at some of our fans moans and groans!!!

What is worrying is that the idea was not properly thought through before announcing it. I am sure this has put down a marker in the chairman's mind. One major cock up can be bad luck but anymore and ... who knows.

Well to add fuel to the fire and moving onto a different subject. The "play list" before the game has been sorted. This play list has not been disclosed but depending on whether it is a success or not will dictate who will take responsibility for it. Standby for more outrage at the first game!!!

Well correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you could get 2 per person? Pretty sure I read on Twitter that this will be judged on a game by game basis. I would imagine for Newcastle it will just be 1 ticket per person. Some might say they're making it up as they go along. Not me
