The problem with moving 1000 people from there allocated ST seat to the south stand is they can't then sell the extra 1000 around the stadium so the club are losing money on the south stand whether we sell 500 extra home fans every home game

i think is barnsley had been offered 4000 tickets they woudnt have shifted all of them the same with wolves i was sat opposite the ss and it looked rammed and the atmosphere they create does have a knock on affect around the ground it gets infectious long may it continue it sounds like a football ground not a libary

They wouldn't sell me a ticket in riverside yesterday for my sons friend, even though they knew people had moved to the south stand
They said they weren't allowed and it was sold out, my lad and his mate went into the FM upper and I sat in my seat and the row I was on was nearly empty
They are not allowed to sell seats that are reserved for ST even f they move seat
so if people move to the south stand they are taking up 2 seats

Correct ;4499 unsold seats yesterday. Getting to be a good case for 1900 away fans in the FML instead of the SS. Make all those season ticket holders who prefer the South Stand change from their current seat to a South Stand season ticket. Option to resell seats that have moved away frim where they are now. Option for pay on the day or special offers for South Stand for home fans.

I tried to book my ticket Friday afternoon for the £10 offer in the FM Upper, through my account on HTAFC website. I don't think I was doing anything wrong, but couldn't bring up the offer price. I ended up ringing the ticket office, and the girl seemed to acknowledge it wasn't working correctly. She did it for me, then I had to pick up the ticket from the ticket office. Anyone else I wonder had this issue, and gave up ?
Back to the point - when I looked at the stadium overview, there were only a few available seats left in the bottom section of the FM Upper, my preferred vantage point in that stand, about 3 I think. Surprised then when I turned up yesterday for the game, there were large pockets of untaken seats, so much so I was able to shuffle along with an empty seat either side of me, which gave me and another " big lad " originally next to me a bit of breathing space !

I do wish clubs would report the actual attendance but seeing as pretty much everyone reports it based on tickets sold these days you cant blame Town for doing that also.
I'm a bit surprised (if true) it was only actually 16,119 or whatever cos thats 4000 who had a ticket but either didn't turn up or didn't give their ticket to a friend.

Can the club count season card holders who don't turn up towards the official attendance? If so should they be allowed to? Yes, of course. It's the convention that ALL clubs report their figures this way.

The separation net looks excessively wide the health and safety team have information on a number of very long armed Town 'risk' element.. plus its rumoured one or two were 'pretty decent' long jumpers at school...

Let's call it 6500 in Kilner (end block totally empty, some kind of TV gantry thing in place under covers, also quite a lot of empty seats amongst), 5000 in Riverside, 2500 in FM and probs approaching 3000 in South Stand given the segregation and empty seats dotted about even though it was full. Turns up to 16000 or so, which was my estimate looking around the place.

Well if Town are saying our fans can have a section of the SS and Wolves are saying they have a 3900 allocation, then one of them are wrong- and it will be Wolves id have thought! Theres an advantage to be had maybe, but its an expensive one, costing something like £60k in lost income for these games where the opposition would probably sell out. Highly unlikely wolves would sell out, they only took 2650 to Birmingham and now all of a sudden they reckon they e got Leeds level of away support. 2k is plenty for them.

In the £100 season, we used to report the actual attendance and was usually about 2000 lower than tickets sold. A few years ago, we would have got an actual attendance of about 16000 against Barnsley and not at cheap prices either.

I know at least 3 season ticket holders who are on holiday still so I would expect the number of "no shows" to be higher until kids back at school. Out of interest I notice that there were officially 3144 at Blackpool yesterday - highlights on telly suggested hardly anybody was there - how the world of football changes!

People being on holiday won't be helped as said. Also agree re the gap between home and away fans, absolutely no need for that AT ALL (surely we can at least try to push for less segregation, eg even if we play v Leeds, despite the fact there's a gap in the stand between us and them they still cover some blocks), and no reason why yesterday needed what I think was a full block plus a line of stewards on either side of the netting

A thread about attendances with no Bradford fans commenting? Did I wake up in a parallel universe this morning?? 🤔 I actually heard there was circa 11,000 in the gayfarm yesterday - can anyone clarify this? Once again, more home fans that yous. Oh, and I believe our attendance yesterday was less than ST's sold, strange that, given our numbers are vastly inflated by the number of tickets sold theory. Happy Sunday's.

Ay up, here he is, our resident BD13 simpleton, although we have a few of them on here already. Look mate, just stick to League One and leave the Championship to the big clubs...like us, we are top of the league...say we are top of the league. You can only dream of that. To be fair, you turned it round in the last week so credit where credits due.

There were 16,119 in attendance yesterday (approx 14,000 home fans), which is several thousand more than the number of 23-game season tickets sold by Bradford in exchange for cash.
