We didn't lose today because of refereeing decisions, we simply lost to a better side on the day, it happens even when you are at the top of the league - look a decent side do Wednesday. I'm confident we will bounce back against Preston!! Your joking right? It wasn't a joke

Van La Para wasn't stationary, he moved towards the ball with his arms raised. It was a pen! What does being stationary have to do with it being handball? In reference to your comment about the ball hitting somebody's hand in a defensive wall. If the Weds player had blasted it at Van La Para who couldn't get out of the way and it just hit is hand then that's another story, but he moved towards the ball with his arms raised and for me that's a penalty.

Wednesday were not better than Town today - but with all the decisions going their way today they looked better than they were.

Ref was shite today and I am not talking about the penalty decision. He got bullied by their players. An embarrassment. He should not class himself as a bloke after that.

Why not though? Both would stop the ball with their hands in front of their bodies. If it was to the side of him or above him I could understand it. Bit if his hands weren't there it would have hit him in the chest/face. And it was from a yard away.

Can you blow up when the ball is dead? Shouldn't he have either blown before it went out or once we took the corner?

what was going on with their lad who refused to retreat 10 yards...ref asked him 4 times then went to book him, but didn't ?

Just more inconsistent refereeing, especially seeimg as he booked Hefele at the end when he let their lot get away with arguing all day. The guy is a tool and just wants attention.

2 images below. 1st shows how short the distance was, the 2nd shows where it actually hit VLP. His arms are up, yes, but it hits him in front of his chest. I don't understand how this can be called deliberate handball. I certainly don't understand how a linesman who couldn't spot blatant offsides all afternoon could see through 2 bodies for it either.

Was it the linesman that gave it? How the hell could he see from the side whether van la Parra stopped the ball with his hands away from his body?

the referee booked quite a few players but on a least 3 occasions when foristeri was going to be booked he called the captain over i assume to say again and again if he does it again he is booked

It's funny, but the ref didn't give it immediately. Linesman didn't put his flag up but I think he gave the ref the nod.

His main fault today was allowing Hooper to jump straight into Schindler for so long before finally booking him mid way through the second half. He should have been booked for it within the first 15 minutes

the lineman never raised his flag for a penslty No, he pressed his buzzer though. So the buzzer is basically another way to keep poor linesman from being properly accountable for decisions.

It's the poor and inconsistent handling of the nitty gritty things that happen in every game that get me cross. Today's prime example was the booking of Kachunga. A tug back when a man got away from him in a non-dangerous area. There were countless other tugs and niggly fouls after that, that were overlooked by the ref. Foristieri was at it all game.

should van la parra get a club fine for deliberately handling the bal in the box and giving them a penalty or should wagner let him off because he didn't deliberately handle it - the lino who was straight in line didn't think he did
