Looked more like a slap to me Cod. also looked to me as though hefele never even looked round.. scottish git trying to tackle/nibble from the wrong side.. goes down from a face slap, rolls around and then jumps up runs across squealing and pointing??? absolutely nothing has happened in a real mans game?

Exactly!.Said so to the missus,wouldn't,t want him backing me up in a pub fight. If you run directly behind someone and can keep up the chances are you will catch his heels or you will get caught yourself.. if you run directly behind a big centre half who has set off on a charge, you might well get caught by rangy legs or arms.. trying to nibble at him renders you more liable to 'kop an unfortunate one'.. some players arms are a law unto themselves when running quickly..some throw their arms about to 'protect' the ball.. most when 'seeing the ball out' stick their arse out and throw their arms up and out.. never, ever given as a foul even if the opponent gets a whack trying to get around the bloke who is mostly 'obstructing the ball with no intention of actually playing it'
