It's getting fucking silly is this. Nahki absolutely wiped out, not given.
What do we have to do to get a penalty?.

If the ref couldn't see it was the linesman looking at.

Needs to book him for diving if he doesn't give it.
Thought kachunga had a stronger shout for the pen.

2 absolutely blatant penalties. Our lack of luck is beyond a joke.

We get absolutely nothing from these clowns. Reading have had 9 penalties this season. Something isn't right.

On top of that, massive get one that was less a penalty than the ones we aren't getting. 4 incidents in 2 home games - 3 pens and the joke of a decision to give a free-kick against Mooy for Brum's goal - and all 4 have gone against us.

Just seen it on Sky. Oh my god. That's the worst decision to not give a penalty I've seen in a long while. So blatant.

The Kachunga one, from where I was sat, looked like one of those that gets given anywhere else on the pitch, but seldom for a penalty.

Was talking penalties with my Wendies supporting mate today commenting that Forrestieri had done well to get up and take the penalty having appeared to have been shot!
Made me look at the stats on penalties this season and has been pointed out, Reading have had nine, Brum 6 and a few 5, 4's and 3's! Us and 3 or 4 others - none!!
They say that luck will even itself out which in this case is utter bollocks!!!

Any other team but Town is getting a penalty for that I already agree with you on that. It really is getting beyond a joke. I've no qualms with the result tonight - Wigan did what they needed to do and fair play to them - but people are starting to talk before the game even kicks off about the penalty we aren't going to get. It's suspicious.

The officials once again were incompetent. They're meant to be professional now. If they're professional then any oaf can be a football league official. I'd rather have a 6 year old goat in charge than the brainless twats we get every week. We could have a player kung-fu kicked in the air and the officials would probably say we pushed the opposition player and that made him kick out like that. Utter disgrace.
But of course, they don't have to explain their decisions to anyone, and come the weekend they'll all be taking part in officiating a game again. It's getting fecking boring playing against 12 (or 14) men every bloody week. Even when we win, the officials are shite, so it's hardly like we're only laying into them when we draw or lose. Every person I've seen who commented on the 2 penalty shouts, including those with (to my knowledge) no bias or interest either way said both were basically nailed on and there's no excuse for them not being given.
Certainly the Wells one, why would he go down there unless he was fouled? Utter lunacy. Unfortunately we're all stuck with the same dross week after week, and there's nothing we can do about it.

Why oh why do we not have the video referee setup like Rugby? Surely that needs to be part of football now??

No that would kill the game, as much as we are disliking this at the moment, it's the talking and controversy that surrounds in time judgement. Stopping a game continuously to check or appeal one, would ruin the flow of football. Might as well do an NFL and stop the clock too. All I'd do is bring in goal line refs like in Europe, that's as far as I'd go.

I don;t think so - it would be pretty immediate to get a result and the right decision would be made, then we can focus on the game not talking about effing referees. It needs doing - or - referees need to be more accountable and better!!!

Sadly, the FA are unaccountable. The glaring incompetence will again go unpunished.

I was so angry about that penalty. It happens but not to have had one is now suspicious. Before that game I'd discussed that there is a very strong case for saying that not having video evidence and being able to hear referees decisions is because someone doesn't want it to happen. I'm sad to say that the game is corrupted in my view and video evidence in the penalty area and for offside is the only way to take that possibility out of the equation, especially considering how much investment the chairman puts into the club.

If they did this it would ruin football. It may seem for an equal field. But they will bend rules regardless if they wanted to, replay or not. I couldn't be arsed watching a sport turn to rugby, waiting for a "Goal" or "Penalty" on a score board. Fuck that

Both the foul on Wells & the one on Kachunga were as blatant as you'll ever see. If he didn't give those then I have to question whether he's ever awarded a penalty in his life.

He awarded one at Aldershot, about 7 years ago, when a centre half knifed a striker to death. He had to consult with his assistant though.
