Man City women caught out fucking about at the back. Hope football eventually comes full circle and "get it forrad" becomes the norm again.

Tottenham playing like they want to get their manager the sack They reminded me of Town for 60 minutes - no passion, no attacking intent, appeared to couldn't care less, then they managed a shot on target.

What a poor half of football that was by Premier League standards. Brighton with a chance to go top and they look like a side bottom of the table. Palace have pressed really well but their use of the ball in the final third was terrible

What a poor half of football that was by Premier League standards. Brighton with a chance to go top and they look like a side bottom of the table. Palace have pressed really well but their use of the ball in the final third was terrible I’ve worked with 2 Brighton fans in the last few yrs. They’re not at the levels of Wed fans entitlement, but they did start to grate on me. Sadly, the PL will revert to its norm in the next few games, a league that is just driven by links to wealth and dare I say it, corruption…

2nd time over the weekend that fans have gone onto the pitch. Was some verbal confrontation with players and fans...
Slightly worrying...
Needs knocking on the head sharpish.
Seen a lot more player 'interaction' with opposition fans this season, including the England team, it's unhelpful.

Horrendous miss from Bernardo Silva from about a yard and a class goal from Messi.
Real have lost 1-2 to Sheriff of Moldova. XG of 3.19-0.37. You love to see it.

I wouldnt be too concerned in this division by Luton scoring 5 tonight. It's so inconsistent with back to back wins so rare that it's probably a positive

Always thought that Coventry were in a false position. Down to Carlos now to come up with a plan.

Hope not - a defeat on Saturday and it will be all over for Carlos! How come? If you look on the Carlos sack thread you will see that if we win he is doing a good job, if we loose he needs sacking. Is future is based upon the last result only. I dont agree but thats the way DATM works.

I've just watched the goals from Barnsley v Forest. Second Forest goal is offside. Liner flags the moment that the bloke breaking on the right touches the ball. Why did the ref not stop play?

Yeah weird, he puts his flag up but doesn't look to be offside. Maybe he didn't see the last Barnsley defender and communicated to the ref that he'd made a mistake.

Not mentioned in the match report, but if you read the comments in 'Have Your Say' it becomes apparent that the ball was deflected to him by a defender. Same comments say that he was still offside when the ball was played forward by his own player though, so not quite sure what to make of it all. I used to be au fait with all the rules of football, but these days I just can't get my head around many of them.

Surely the touch from the opposition player indicates a new passage of play, making him onside? Does the touch by the opposition player have to be intentional, ie a misplaced pass? I assume contact with the ball from an opposition player rule still applies? The offside rule is terribly messy these days.
