I believe that's now 5 hours without a goal from open play.So we really need to be taking Kane off and bring on a goalkeeper.

Obviously the media will build us up, but in reality we have about as much chance of winning the World Cup as Italy, who aren't even in the World Cup

Too late to sack him before the World Cup? 🤔 He is the yes man with all the 'right attributes and opinions'. Winning something is not everything and how we 'look' as a representative body is vitally important. Kane wearing an armband at the next world cup is the main pr tactic, the actual games less important.

Too late to sack him before the World Cup? 🤔 Schofield in? I jest, but he'd have a job on making us any worse to watch

Kane wearing an armband at the next world cup is the main pr tactic, the actual games less important. If he gave a genuine shit about equality and the ethics of holding the tournament in a place like Qatar then Kane would sit the World Cup out, rather than just stick a rainbow armband on.

TBF, Japan are a really good team. Going to be worth watching them in the WC. Sports Direct selling the Japan shirt, wouldn't mind one but not at £70 How old are you ?

England under Southgate are so fucking dull to watch.
Hopefully the FA will fuck him off after we fail at the world cup.

It is the worst thing to ever happen to football. Its slowly going to completely kill the game as a spectacle, kill the atmosphere, kill the moment, kill the joy and it doesn't even get the decisions right, or end controversy. Does anyone still think its a good idea, apart from those who profit financially? I was on board with VAR when they announced it. I thought it would even things out, help the smaller clubs being disadvantaged. Now that it's fairly obvious that nothing much has changed (maybe a few token decisions for the little clubs), then I'm just waiting for the 'get rid of VAR' bus to arrive. I expect that if you looked at the detailed financials for the PL, VAR is probably paid for with some of their marketing budget... I was never for it. The ref makes a decision in his opinion. Right or wrong. Its in the laws.

Will mr southgate be going to Qatar? Surely he can't be considered for the chop after the international equivalent of the Sherpa Van Trophy flop.....surely? I mean I think its like watching paint dry from an equally boring manager but sacking him seems drastic.

At least tonight showed we don’t need to give Ivan Toney, or Tammy Abraham’s for that matter a chance to play. Southgate is more than capable of failing at the World Cup without them.

Southgate will never have the balls to drop Sterling and play Grealish, drop Kane and play Toney. That will be his downfall.

Southgate will never have the balls to drop Sterling and play Grealish, drop Kane and play Toney. That will be his downfall. It’s not about having the balls to drop a player, it’s about having the balls to play football. All he does is set up the team in an anti-football way. It’s the shit conservative mindset that’s got you fucked.

I can’t believe I’m doing this but Southgate has been pretty open on how and why we play. We’re set up to play tournament football. Not friendlies and Mickey Mouse leagues where teams play more open and we’re susceptible to some shit results. Tournament football is all about being tight and solid and pinching 1-0 wins which we’ve proven over the last 2 tournaments works.
Don’t get me wrong some of his team selections are mystifying at times which is what will get him the sack because he’s picking players out of form and out of position that need to be at 100% for this style to work.
For me, sticking with how he wants to play, the team should be more like..
Pickford Stones. Coady. Died Trent. Bellingham. Rice. Chilwell Grealish. Kane. Foden
